Treasure of China — Restaurant in London

I had a special friend rice, which was tasteless and prawn crackers with cranberry juice. I was hugely dissatisfied as I thought it looked lovely from the outside, so was keen to experience it for myself.

MAIN Issue:

Upon entering I was ignored for the first 10 minutes before being seated. The food did come pretty quickly but that explains why it tasted not so fresh. Instead of recieving a pleasant service from the waitress I just received “ ok yeah??” As she shouted loudly for the entire restaurant to hear the awkward exchange as she checked I was on with the order .. the other table were looking over at my table as I was dining alone, to see what the issue was as the loud conversation was not warranted. I notice that the same waiter was able to offer great customer service to the white family telling them “ enjoy your meal. All ok?” Perfect sentence, so was not a language barrier.

I finished my meal and decided to put my jacket on as I waited for the bill. It’s at this point I heard the rude waiter saying loudly to me “ you need to pay, yeh??” I had no intention of walking out without paying.

Ordered a delivery via Deliveroo. Arrived on time and the food was piping hot, well presented and no leaks. The food was delicious, ordered the Fukian fried rice (egg fried rice topped with seafood and asparagus, mushroom etc sauce) - so good. Pork belly stew with salty preserved vegetables, melts in your mouth and tender- yes it's fatty but that's belly. Fish fillets with tofu. Love the chunky juicy prawns in the curry. Chinese broccoli with ginger sauce. The portions were huge too. So good to find a restaurant that does authentic Chinese food. (Ps. I had been to this place a few times in the past couple of years and everytime I had good experience. I can't remember if I visited them this year but been there again today and came back feeling ripped off . Wondered if they changed management. They have put up their price by about 30% and reduced portion size by about 30% , in addition to that, food was not fresh. Deep fried squid was smelly and tasted very strongly, duck was not fresh either. After telling them the seafood was not good and should not be served to other customers, but then they told me they tried the squid and it was fine.

Do not recommend to go to this place . As you will get take away quality but 4 times...
