I had been waiting for a long time for this place to open to try what promised to be a much needed exciting addition to this area. However, the food was disappointing and the customer service chaotic, to say the least. We ordered a starter of spring rolls + Teriyaki Mayo which were just ok and some Korean Mandy which had such an unpleasant flavour that couldn't finish eating it. As main we ordered sweet Soya Garlic Steak and wok veg with Jasmine rice and Yakisoba Noodles topped with a few very tiny pieces of chicken Teriyaki. Both dishes were very dry and lacked flavour. I love a good ice coffee so I ordered some Pistachio Ice Coffee which turned out to be a huge disappointment as you could hardly taste the coffee or the pistachio. It was more like cold water with a hint of coffee which at 3.99 I find extremely expensive for the quality of the drink.
The customer service was chaotic. The staff looked absolutely disengaged as they don't seem to have clear roles or communicate amongst themselves. At some point some of them looked lost trying to find tables to clean or simply standing behind the counter looking unsure about what they had to do. The orders are not prepared in a clear sequence and it wasn't until we waited for a long time and asked about our order that they realised it had not been prepared. It'd be helpful to have a screen for customers to track their order status as many customers who arrived after us and ordered similar food on the touchscreens just as we did, were called first. The system is simply a shambles! At some point two orders were assigned the same number which caused a lot of confusion between the customers when the number was called.
Whilst we were visiting the place, I could see other customers were equally unhappy with the quality of the food including some ladies who were seating nearby and simply requested a refund.
The prices are ok in general (apart from the watery iced coffee) but they need to provide better quality food and customer service if they really want...

I recently visited Momos, intrigued by their diverse menu, but my experience was somewhat disappointing. I ordered the Chicken Katsu Rice Bowl, expecting a delightful combination of crispy chicken and perfectly cooked rice with fresh vegetables. However, the reality did not meet my expectations. The vegetables were overcooked, losing their crunch and flavor. The rice was mushy, far from the ideal texture. The most off-putting aspect was the chicken katsu; it had a distinct taste of oil that had clearly been used to fry fish, imparting an unacceptable seafood flavor to the chicken.
On a slightly better note, I tried the corn dog, which was decent. It wasn't outstanding, but it was satisfactory compared to the rice bowl. The highlight of my meal was the strawberry ball mojito. The drink was refreshing, well-balanced, and a perfect complement to an otherwise lackluster dining experience.
One of the positives was the staff, who were lovely and very helpful throughout my visit. Unfortunately, the ambiance was marred by an incident where a homeless individual entered the restaurant and persistently begged for food, creating an uncomfortable dining environment. While this is not the restaurant's fault, it does reflect the challenges of the location.
Overall, while I appreciate the concept behind Momos' menu, the execution, particularly in terms of flavor and food quality, needs significant improvement. I hope they address these issues, as the potential for a great dining experience is there. Furthermore see the video of my delivery order from last year. After trying it again now I’m sad to say the quality used to be much better last year.
P.s. Mac & cheese bowls are more desirable than...

SERVICE = Minus 5 stars WHY?
I ordered 50/50 KFC their signature dish. Rice, side order kimchi.
Guess how long I waited.........almost 1 hour.
I saw customers came after me and getting food.
When i approached the counter and asked about my order number, she checked with the chefs and replied no idea!
She looked at the system and my order was there but nobody in the kitchen knew anything. I peered through the semi open kitchen and saw 4-7 person pretending to be busy.
I worked as a chef almost 30 years and specialise in Pan Asian cuisine(16 years) European cuisine (13 years)
Currently, there are more investors whom invested street food(korean street food)business.
Mostly these chef have little or no experience and the are paid peanuts. "If you paid peanuts, you get monkeys to work for you."
The cashiers peristed that I wait 3 mins and my orders(she will cook personally for me). So why did I waited for almost an hour?😪😪😪
She has no food hygiene certificate, COSHH, health and saftey The employee and broken almost health and safety on the book. Nail varnish, jewelleries, correct clothing etc.....
I went there because I waz nearby shopping and recalled the name of the restaurant and also order through Uber eats.
My impression was sauce was edible and KFC batter was terrible. I decided to see if i eat there, it might be better.
I give most restaurants/takeaways second chances.
If I haven't went. They would had 3 stars averages 3 star.
Sadly, this experience left a mental scar.
