I rarely give such scathing reviews.
Come here if you like your coffee with a side of cold English air; shop keeper can’t seem to close the doors.
I know it might be good for inviting new customers in, but it makes a horrible experience for the customers who’ve already purchased items.
I went on a VERY cold day, ordered a mocha and sat down. I spent approx half an hour, in a relatively empty shop. You’d think my presence would be welcomed, so that others outside would also consider coming in. Barista seemed more interested in his phone. I don’t want them to bow down to me for choosing Monies, but a smile wouldn’t hurt.
Was going to buy some food after my mocha but I couldn’t stand the breeze coming in, and barista didn’t seem to care that his customers were literally wearing jackets and scarves inside. Both myself and the other customer left.
The mocha? I’ve had far better for far less, in Putney. (+ Latte art was a mess, although idc about this as it doesn’t affect flavour).

Having nailed the coffee they now do cheese and charcuterie boards on a fri and sat evening. You must go!! Each cheese is carefully hand selected from Borough Market, the meats are insane, they use amazing quality products from artisan producers and you can really taste the difference. A great selection of drinks too - ranging from wine to...
Read moreAbsolutely not the place to be. The banana bread tastes of fish. The staff are just messing about with nothing to do, but still cant even wipe the tables. There are literally loads of crumbs on the tables. The person opposite me left, and they have even served someone elses coffee on the same crumb covered, sticky table 🤢🤢🤢🤢 its tiny here too. But they take cups and do not wipe tables. How is this 5 hygiene rating? And oh my... The guy just wiped crumbs and dirt off another table with his bare hand. What the actual.... !!!! Worst £8 ive spent. Oh, hold up... The lady just sprayed and wiped the tables. Just the woman here though....
