Decided to pop in again today to give them another chance (I haven't been in for well over a year I think) as it was hard work shopping there last time because - there's many products with no prices so I had to ask one of the staff but she just walked away from me (it turned out that she can't speak English, which should be a requirement, so went to get someone else but how was I supposed to know that) then when it came to paying I was overcharged for the product, I only noticed because my bill was higher than it should be.
Fast forward to today: I was at the till and asked about signing up to the points scheme...again the guy didn't speak English so walked away to get someone else, however the guy who did deal with me was not good/unprofessional - he kept rocking from side to side, making me very dizzy 😵💫 apparently he can't stop it he said 😒 so I had to interact with him looking downwards because he would not stand still for just a minute or two 😞 I should have just left.
Having had another unpleasant experience today after not going there for such a long time I will go with my original decision and not bother with them again. It's a shame because I like to support these type of independent shops that sell stuff that you just can't get in a supermarket...but the staff let it down. And I know you are trying to support your friends by giving them a job but it's bad customer service (in fact no customer service at all) if they can't even...
Read moreOne of the worst places I have come across. With their reckless behaviour, Mum’s destroyed a whole community of neighbours who had been living there long before. Lengthy construction works until really late in the evenings… then they have been playing music with bass full on, and put loud condensing units directly under the neighbours’ windows (24/7 they go on and off, on and off…).
They were made aware of all of this, but never addressed the issue in a sensitive and professional way, like taking the bass out (such a simple step, but they really didn’t care!) or investing in a high-quality acoustic enclosure for their condensing unit to absorb the noise and make it bearable for us … not even one apology!
Incredible how one place can terrorise so many people in the midst of a pandemic where you can’t go anywhere else to have some calm. Some people were forced to move already, and others intend to follow.
This was also really bad promotion for them because not just the neighbours, but also friends and family of neighbours who all live around in Harringay have been boycotting this place.
And a legal case seems on its way now. Such a shame!
Mum’s is really like the kind of parent you don’t want to live with under one and...
Read moreI got their number when going past on the bus.
I WhatsApp as I needed some Maca powder which I normally buy online.
I got a reply. Whoever replied was to the point...no courtesy.
However, since they confirmed they had stock I went in. I found I was greeted with the same nonchalant attitude, HOWEVER, I decided to ignore that as the shop is fairly local & online orders can take a while.
This Saturday gone I whatsapp again. However, I got no reply. Because it was something else I'd run out of, I chased them.
Whoever replied said Hi...and sorry about the delayed reply & they don't have the item in stock.
I replied asking when they would have stock and got a very curt reply ...words to the effect.."we can't predict when the supplier will have the item!"
It's great to have local stores to support where you are valued for your custom. But if you're not valued, then then it's online all the way.
Whoever, replied to my WhatsApp obviously is an employee not someone who owns the business, otherwise they'd have had more courtesy & value my business. They should remember bad news travels better that good...I have friends who like me buy organic & wholefood...however...
.....I'll not be shopping in this store again or...
