My wife and I had returned from The Royal Festival Hall to Hayes, around 22:30pm and our wee tummies were sending us signals that they were empty and needed something placed in them or there would be a revolution of kinds. Eek! We both thought. We had better do something about this but it was late and surely all restaurants would be closed now. And indeed they were. We were walking past Mumbai Madness and glanced in. Sure enough, it was empty and some of the staff were clearing up. AH well we thought, Sainsburys sandwiches it would be but hold on... one of the owners, a very nice chap by the name of Venky, beckoned us in. My wife smiled and we walked in, asking if they were sure, as we didn't want to keep them from going home. "Don't be silly," stated Venky, "It's Valentines day, please come in." So, we did. We took a glance at the menu but I asked Venky and the equally wonderful Raj if they could just surprise us with dishes that they feel we would like. I can tell you this... we were absolutely delighted with the dishes that we were presented with. I cannot remember their names, I had one of their signature dishes. We raised our glasses, a perfect bottle of Rioja, and toasted in praise of our wonderful hosts. I can honestly say that this is the best genuine Indian restaurant in the vicinity. The staff and managers are exceptionally professional, informative, polite, wanting your experience with them to be an enjoyable one. It was. Thank you to Venky, Raj and all the staff for a perfect end to the day.

It was our first time here, first impression was restaurant was beautifully decorated. Chicken tikka masala wasn’t as nice I was expecting the flavour was slightly off and the sauce was very orange rather than more of a red colour. It was quite oily too. The peshwari naan I had the same issue, taste was slightly off and the texture of the coconut inside was quite hard. I unfortunately did not enjoy this meal and much as I wanted too. The cocktails we had were ok. Lastly I went to use the ladies bathroom but turned straight back around as someone had left a disgusting mess in there. Not their fault but the toilets should be regularly checked. I will say that the atmosphere is great and we received a very warm welcome

Been coming here for a few years now and every visit just gets better and better. Slowly working our way through the menu and each dish we have is as good as the one before. Particularly Lamb laal mas if u fancy something with a fiery smoky flavour. Chicken chettinad or chicken kukkar also are both Excellant. Just had a birthday dinner for a friend there tonight with kids also. Butternut chicken and korma for the kids were much better than anything in the area. Great service, great food, great choice and in general a reallly good night out. They deserve to be busier. Highly recommend for anyone looking for this type of food in the surrounding areas. Thank you.

We went here on a wednesday to try out the 5 course meal deal. We were greeted in an empty restaurant, we were the only booking. We were given 4 poppadoms without requesting them which was a pleasent suprise. We enjoyed starters, mains, a side and a rice. We then were offered a pudding menu? Which was a shock as we expected it to come into the deal, as it was stated on their website.

When we asked why we were offered a seperate menu, they said that they have changed the deal and the poppadoms are now a course and pudding is no longer included. I was unhappy as their website, which i brang up to show them, still states that pudding is included. The staff were pretty rude, a manager wasnt available and we were left unhappy at the end of a fairly good meal.

A few shops up is another indian resturant (ginger) which was very busy, which has the same deal including pudding. Which, I guess is why that was so busy and we were the only table in this place.

I will not be visiting again, in fact i will now use Ginger, the shop just...
