Nando's Glasshouse Street — Restaurant in London

This is my second time at the Glasshouse branch. The last time it was on the weekend in the evening, we were told to wait for 45 minutes and guest who came there after we did were told waiting time 1 hour. Of course nobody wants to wait for so long specially if they have children. However the lady with the guest list was friendly and was in constant contact with her colleague in the basement restaurant, we were seated within 25mins which was great.

Today at 1.45pm Nando's didn't look busy, yet the waiting time was 15 minutes. The girl with the guest list was not pleasant or friendly. She gave us an Unwelcoming unpleasant approach... i think her name is Darbour not sure of the spelling - We felt a barrier as she spoke, she had NO smile... no sense of customer service, so we decided to do a takeaway.

When I went down to the basement there were more then half a dozen tables empty..... I thought it was so unprofessional to keep people waiting.

I was told at the till that they are short staff in the kitchen so they keep customers waiting upstairs....

Well, I look at it as BAD management. Nando's at Glasshouse street is in a prime location, if they have the right staff who are really trained well with excellent communicate skills and "Qualified Management" Nando's would be able to welcome their guest with professional mannerisms and Nando's would be making/ generating better profits in ...

Nando's is a fantastic restaurant that offers a unique and flavorful dining experience. The star of the show is undoubtedly their peri-peri chicken, which is grilled to perfection and available in a variety of spice levels to suit every taste bud. I opted for the medium spice level, which provided a delightful kick without being overwhelming. The chicken was juicy, tender, and bursting with flavor.

The sides at Nando's are equally impressive. I tried the creamy mashed potatoes and the peri-peri chips, both of which were delicious and complemented the chicken perfectly. The mashed potatoes were smooth and flavorful, while the peri-peri chips had a satisfying crunch and a subtle hint of spice.

First of all, I would like to thank Junayd for his great service yesterday. I would say that is the only good thing I could say about my visit there yesterday.

One of the workers named Aurel was touching chemical products with his bare hands and then went straight to the fridge to go and hand me my dessert and he also used his bare hands! This is disgusting, cross contamination! Touching chemicals and then touching food is a big no/no. I thought this was just common sense! He did this all in front of me. I can only imagine what happens behind closed doors and when I mentioned it to him. He was extremely rude and sarcastic. All he had to do is change the cake but instead I was served a slice of cake with rudeness.

Also, another one of the team, Rubin was extremely rude to another staff member. I just want to highlight this because I am a customer. I don’t want to come to a restaurant to enjoy my meal and see such unprofessionalism. There is a time and place for everything and in front of customers or even alone is not the place for this behaviour. This is unacceptable. Do better!! Treat your customers and staff good.
