I've been to this "restaurant" several times and was generally considered our "go to" place whenever we felt an urge for an evening of Portuguese take-out. Despite this, I honestly cannot recommend this place. It has consistently let us down on more than one occasion and the problems seem to be getting worse. Here are some examples.
Ordered a veggie pita, pita came with the bun and vegetable burger on it's own! (no salad or sauces) So no filling to compliment it.
Ordered using their gimmick of a Nando's card only to realise I was entitled to a free half chicken after I ordered. When I asked why this was not mentioned during time of purchase, staff immediately called her manager.
I ordered over the phone, waited for my food for an HOUR all the while being constantly told that they're extremely busy. It's only when I asked for a refund and was heading towards the door they finally gave me my long awaited dinner.
Ordered Chicken Breast in Pita, turned out to be undercooked and almost raw.
Ordered via the nandos website, side of Perinase was missing despite the fact that I had already paid for it.
This restaurant is consistent in letting you down and finding new ways to make your experience displeasing. Not to mention their nando's "reward" card is an absolute joke as the points you earn have an expiry and to claim those rewards you need to spend a minimum amount. That does not exactly classify as "free" in my honest opinion.
So to summarise; awful business practices, awful customer service, overrated and expensive food. Avoid...
Read moreFood was good obviously. But absolutely appalling service. The manager of the restaurant did not adhere to social distancing guidelines. He was obnoxious and responded to me to very rudely when I tried to collect my order. He and his staff were not behaving in a professional manner and constantly were screaming and shouting at each other. The manager is the root of the problem, at one point when he was asking for my order details he, without my consent, grabbed my phone and handed it to his employee, then said "I'll give it back in a bit", he essentially snatched my personal property which holds all my data and sent it away into the kitchen where I couldn't see it.
This meant all the things I came into contact with leading up to my visit had entered the kitchen with the employee touching all the takeout bags and kitchen surfaces. The manager (a short balding middle eastern man) kept coming up to peoples faces and even greeted his delivery driver with handshakes and hugs, and what's worse is he invited them past the staff only barrier and when they denied he further insisted on them coming in.
Overall the manager has no skills fit for the job, lacks basic common sense and does not follow government guidelines. His appalling leadership style has left its mark on his team and ignorance has put many people at risk. There needs to be disciplinary...
Read moreI’d give this branch 0 stars if I could. Absolutely horrendous customer service. We ordered through the nando’s app, and for some reason the order was split in two and the restaurant refused to give the second bag of our order to the first driver. We waited over an hour for our second half of the order, and when calling the app customer support, they suggested to call the restaurant. I got through to the manager Kidel, who after just a few seconds began raising his voice at me and being very rude. He claimed they did not have the other half of the order as they would never release it after, directly contradicting what the driver said, and i don’t believe the driver was lying. This was the most awful conversation i’ve ever had with a manager and this person should be fired or given some serious training in customer service. He could have been helpful or kind with his words but instead he chose to be rude to customers who are putting money in his pocket. Rest assured this branch has lost a customer forever, and I will be passing on my experience to all my friends and family who live in this area to warn them to stay away from this horrible location and it’s...
