The worst Nando's. Been here a couple of times and they simply can't get it right. On 2 accessions my bf was served the wrong food. On this occasion it was visibly understaffed. Many dirty tables and only 1 person cleaning them. She was moving very slow, we were at the door and she walked passed us and ignored me when I called her. So we decided to walk to a table. There was one female chef in the kitchen and a gingerhead female manager with a light blue wide shirt, she visibly didn't want to be there. Every member of stuff walked passed the pass full of food. Our food had been sitting under the lamps for 15 mins before some manager with a blue top took it to us. As we were seated in front of the pass we saw everything and naturally our food was cold. I asked the female staff who was walking around and she didn't even apologise. She took the plate away and 3 mind after our chicken wings were still cold. The half chicken came without the corn on the hob as was not ready.. they literally brought us back the same plate with cold chicken and cold chips. We decided to leave there as we were starving. At any point anyone apologized to us. Having been working in this industry for many years, I feel that this place need more attention from the management team and more organisation. We were told to sit at a table which was sticky and had the remenants of the last person's food, and clearly hadn't been cleaned, and we had to ask for this to be cleaned. There was a pretty rude and insolent staff member (Lisa Marie) who was serving us. She just stared at me when I was waiting for her to take the order at the till, no greeting whatsoever, I eventually told her my order. Lisa Marie asked if I had a Nando's card, and I said yes, and waved my NFC enabled card over the NFC reader. She did not say anything, and I asked if my card had been read. She said yes. I come home and found that it had in fact not been read and so I've lost out on the points. Why did she lie?
Anyway, moving on, Lisa Marie then proceeds to just ignore me. I'm still waiting, and she bursts out "what are you waiting for?". I respond "for my receipt", and she rudely talks back "not everyone wants a receipt". Someone needs to teach this lady manners and basic customer service.
Moving on to the food: things have equally gone downhill. The chicken was dry and over grilled. The broccoli seemed straight out of the freezer into the microwave, and you would need a microscope to detect the very little butternut squash in the butternut squash & spiced grains. There were also very few bottles of sauces out - apparently an additional cost cutting strategy by Nando's.

Unfortunately I visited today with my family the Swiss Cottage branch located in the o2 centre and the experience wasn’t great. We got plain chickens for adults and plain Thighs for the kids as every time. Although chicken was plain, thighs were clearly not. When little ones tried those start crying and complaining. I tried it and indeed was very spicy. Def not plain. With the first look red chilly sause was clearly everywhere. When I kindly told it to the manager and showing to him the receipt on hand stated plain, he refused that thighs were spicy and kept telling us that those are coming spicy all the times. We are repeat customers and have this plate for the kids as is boneless and soft so we know that comes plain also. I Informed the manager but he hasn’t cared at all. He never even offer to replace just for kindness. When I told him that’s alright thank you for your time he just turned around and left. Disappointing experience with poor treatment of customers.
