Food was all good and the place was nice we only missed the chance to dine in as they will going to close the store that time. I have a complain about what happen last night. I approach them like these " do you have toilet ?can we use it we order food at same time?" that lady (medium size ,short I think she is Asian not sure I described her as I don't know her name it's not something to criticise her). she respond to us like this "(yes we have toilet but order first" (in my mind I was thinking how can this lady said like that my husband was in urgent need to use toilet but she don't even bother to ask us first whoever wants to use toilet can go one of us can stay and do the order) she just right away said yes they have toilet but order first (I feel so disappointed with her customer Service, no common sense and consideration) so we still do the order first even though my husband was really in need to go we keep quiet as she said order first. Then after the order and payment my husband ask can he use the toilet now that same lady respond yes but be careful toilet is clean? Like what ? In my mind I was 😡 with this person. How can she said like that ? So what if the toilet get dirty we are also customer and we know that she don't need to tell us like that as we know how to leave the place clean after use. What she think about my husband, a little boy??? I know it's too long but I hope the management whoever read this will do some actions to their staff who don't know proper customer service because overall even how good the food and how beautiful the place is if customer service is poor still its a big...
Read moreThe last time I ever spend money at this location. Truly appalling. I have been to other Tortillas around London, which are reliably delicious. Unfortunately, this is the one that delivers to my flat, and it is clearly under some terrible management. They're always out of some extremely vital ingredients for a taqueria, like tortilla chips, or guacamole, or in the case of last night, actual tortillas (for large burritos). When I have complained about the quality in the past, such as when the burritos are not rolled properly and have turned into soup in transit, they blame it on deliveroo. But last week my visiting friend's chicken burrito bowl didn't have any chicken in it - not deliveroo's fault - and in fact, it didn't have much of anything in it, it was gone in two bites, which was embarrassing as he ended up having to share my burrito. And then last night, my god....the meat in my barbacoa burrito was at least 50% inedible fat, no exaggeration. The guacamole, which I paid extra for, was not guacamole, but rather chunks of totally underripe avocado with the texture of apple. Having lived most of my life in the US near the Mexico border, sometimes I get an insatiable craving for burritos, and in fact I have been a 2-3 times/month customer here for nearly two years, but never again....it's just...
Read moreI really didn’t want to write a bad review, but after the experience I had, I feel like it’s justified. I went to Tortilla Finchley Road with my friend, and from the moment we walked in, the staff treated us like we were a burden. They were extremely rude and condescending, making us feel completely unwelcome. I tried asking about the different options they had, but the looks I got from them were like I was dumb for even asking.
It was so uncomfortable, and honestly, I’ve never been treated so poorly before. They clearly had no interest in being helpful or polite, and I felt judged the entire time. a fake and sarcastically after treating us like we didn’t matter at all.
But at that point, also the vibe was horrible and the service had already ruined the experience.
I get that writing a bad review can affect a business, and I usually try to avoid it, but this experience was just too awful to ignore. I want to mention, I'm a regular customer at Tortilla (King’s Cross station, Islington, Oxford Circus)
For this reason, we decided to stick with Chipotle, when I totally recommend that one, totally opposite a Good vibe and...
