Sadly I’ll have to leave a not 5 star review to raise more awareness about this. Overall Nay Thai is a nice restaurant, food is good and service has been nice. However, I had a not very nice experience which to some people could lead to very serious life threatening issues.
I made an online order of pad thai and green papaya salad for it to be picked up, I then called to make sure that there’s no peanuts because my partner is allergic to it. When I picked it up I see that the peanut from pad Thai was put aside so I didn’t think much of it.
But then when I got home the salad was filled with peanuts, I called them and check and they said they got the memo and but clearly didn’t execute it right. The guy did apologise about it but here’s my thing, apologising is not enough at this point. I paid for this food for the two of us only to realise one of us couldn’t eat it, I would’ve offered to make a new one and delivered even. But sadly nothing was offered to me.
People really could’ve died and more restaurants really need to be careful about...

Serving staff were polite as always in Thai eateries, yet could be much more attentive, considering the number of orders. The food is not worth coming again for. In fact, it was not as cheap, after all. The menu is misleading: promising a 2-courses meal deal, yet they insist on charging you extra £3 for each meal with fish and seafood and something else. Strangely, the fish dish was too small for the money charged. Read moreFood is good but I gave one star because of the extremely rude behaviour of one of the staff, first when I asked for table for one, she responded very rudely and said ‘just wait’, then when wanted to order, very impolitely again she asked me to wait and then finally she was telling me to be quiet as I was talking over the phone in a normal tone.
