As a Czech living in London, it is always a pleasure to find a place serving Czech beers, spirits and food, let alone Czech owned pub! We finally visited in early August.

The pub itself seems to be kept in the original deco, which coincidentally very much resembles any Czech pub I've ever been to.

The beer selection is excellent. Although it was great to see Becherovka (herbal liquer) and Slivovice (plum brandy), it was quite surprising and disappointing to learn that these were the only spirits on offer.

We ended up having a handful of beers, a few shots of Slivovice and could not resist the Czech pub classics to satisfy our hungry stomachs. The pickled sausage (Utopenci), traditional rye bread, and especially the marinated cheese (Nakládaný hermelín) similar to brie were perfect and I sincerely recommend for everyone to try them.

Lovely and fast service!

Can't wait to come again soon and...

What an effort from the guys behind bohem brewery. A Czech brewery based in London with an existing tap room in Bowes park. All 10 taps are lukr side pour which are common in the Czech Republic, they're important for getting that classic czech style pour. 4 of their beers are their own with another 6 guest beers and 1 cider. They're keeping their beer glasses in a cold water bath which is great as you get a cold and clean glass every time. The interior hasn't changed much from it's previous iteration which is great. Amazing new addition to the...

When I go in. There are tables that are not clean. Even though the pub is relativlely empty. There is one particular person that is not a good barman, that doesn't looked washed. He has greasy hair and just watches the T.V. All the time. and does not have good Customer Service. I have been going into the the pub, from time to time, for a good few years. And he does not make you feel welcome, even though I have been in that Esablishment, longer than him. And he still does not change.....Why????...

Absolutely enthralled to have a place like this open nearby. High quality Czech beer poured from bespoke Czech taps into proper glasses stored in a cold water bath like they do in the Czech Republic. The pilsner is simply so crisp and fresh - although I wouldn't expect any less from the masters of the craft. Friendly owner, great atmosphere and šljivovica too for those so inclined. Top notch place.
