Disappointing experience on my first visit to this place. I had 45 minutes to wait for an appointment in a neighbouring business so thought I would kill some time having a coffee and croissant. On entering the restaurant/ cafe I was told to take a seat which I did outside. I waited and waited for a menu or the waitress to acknowledge I was there..a waiting customer. 25 minutes passed and no menu nor acknowledgement despite other customers arriving after me and already received their order. I managed to make eye contact with the waitress and finally got a menu. Ordered a coffee and a cinnamon danish which was both lovely. However no sugar or spoon so I had to stir my coffee with a fork which was in the utensil holder on the table. I had 7 minutes before I had to leave for my appointment next door so asked for the bill to ensure I had enough time to pay. Waitress came with the card reader and paid. I managed to quickly eat but had to leave most of the coffee as not enough time to drink it. Its really not nice to feel invisible when you go into an establishment. Locals seem to love it so I'd you are not a regular like me ensure you ha e enough time to allow for any delays

Service was really friendly and helpful and the venue is so much nicer than that dreadful restaurant it used to be. However food was disappointing, and pricey given the quality. I went in for a quick dinner and ordered the baba ganoush and a baked Camembert. The cheese wasn’t heated up so was quite hard half way through. This might sound ridiculous but the baba ganoush was the most offensive thing I’d seen in a long time. This is literally one of the best dishes but it was diabolical. Arrived on a plate puréed to a revolting looking mush with some oil and other sauce, the bread had been stacked but ended up falling on top of it looking dreadful. Taste was bland and not like a delicious baba ganoush which should be chunky, garlicy and with lemon, salt and pepper. I hate complaining so I ate a little and then had to cover it with a napkin (I’ve never done this before in my life). Sorry but this place has loads of potential but the chef really needs to get out and visit some foodie places (there are millions in Finsbury Park) and take some tips. £20 for two small plates and a beer.

We so wanted to like this place. There’s nowhere else around here to eat. Only one staff member on the floor (there were around 30 people in.) It took 20 minutes of waving our arms around to make our order. The food took about 50 minutes to come. The £11 vegan breakfast was robbery for the price. A small bowl of baked beans, 1 hash brown, 1 toast, 1/2 a tomato 1 mushroom and a small lump of warm sweet potato that had been fried in one side. We felt robbed. The manager was rude when we tried to complain. The place was a sham. No one seemed to know what was happening, the staff all looked under 2, and then the prices! To sit on hard wooden furniture and have to fetch your own sugar and spoons. I could go on... This place might survive, but only because there’s no other choice. I’ll be eating back in Crouch End next weekend, where I can get great service and a filling breakfast for half the price.

Nestled in the heart of the local area, Goods Office isn't just a café; it's an experience that delights the senses! As soon as you step through the doors, you're greeted by a vibrant atmosphere (love the brick work) and the warm smiles of the beautiful and friendly staff. Their welcoming demeanor sets the tone for what’s to come.

One of the standout features of Goods Office is undoubtedly their coffee. It’s hard to exaggerate just how exceptional it is! Each cup is crafted with care, showcasing rich flavours and perfectly balanced notes that will surely satisfy even the most discerning coffee enthusiasts. Whether you prefer a classic espresso or a daring seasonal specialty, the baristas are always eager to recommend something that will delight your palate.

But the culinary magic doesn’t stop at coffee. The open kitchen is a captivating sight, allowing diners to watch the talented chefs at work. The menu is a creative fusion of flavours, featuring fresh ingredients that elevate each dish. From hearty breakfast options to delectable lunch fare, every plate is a feast for both the eyes and the taste buds. The attention to detail is evident in every bite, making it clear that these chefs are not only skilled but truly passionate about their craft.

The ambiance of Goods Office further enhances the experience, with a chic yet cozy décor that encourages relaxation and conversation. Whether you're popping in for a quick coffee fix or settling down for a leisurely meal with friends, the vibe is always inviting.

In conclusion, Goods Office is a gem that deserves a visit. With its stunning staff, exquisite coffee, and mouth-watering food crafted with love, it has quickly become one of my favourite spots. I can't recommend it enough—bring your friends, or simply enjoy the ambiance solo. Either way, you're bound to leave with a smile on your face and a...

I have now been to the Goods Office for breakfast twice, once on my own and once with family as I was so excited to take them to a local place for breakfast. The full English I had when I went on my own was really good although the service was very slow. It probably took 20 mins for the coffee to arrive and another 20 minutes for food to arrive but it was a Sunday morning and I was in no rush. When I went with family we waited 30 mins for drinks to arrive after ordering and another 40 mins for food. None of the staff seemed aware and therefore didn’t even acknowledge that it was taking so long. The English breakfast was as good as last time and was very well presented but the other food items were disappointing. The rosti was dry and rubbery and lacked flavour. The avo on toast looked pale and was really quite bland. It is such a shame as I really want my local to do well and serve delicious food in a friendly, neighbourhood environment but I’m afraid that for now, for me at least, it was somewhat underwhelming and dare I say disappointing. I’m sure their heart is in the right place-it’s a hard job but a bit more process, organisation and awareness will go a long way. And as for the breakfast menu, execution will need improvement....
