I give the place a 2 for food 5 for service. Too many onions for my liking. If you like onions this will be 10/10 but not for me. I had the chilli beef and S&S Chicken so I think I got a good overall picture of the place. The egg fried rice was really nice though. Service was spot on. My photo shows half the onions i picked out when I couldnt take it anymore. I guess I could ask for no onions. But my other Chinese place nearby suits me fine so I'll stick with them.

Today very disappointed on a Ā£70 takeaway 8/7/2023. 3 dishes were not up to scratch. Prawn balls inedible, had a brown tinge inside the batter, not normally like that, threw them away to avoid possible food poisoning. Char Sui reheated, tough fry pork, and house special noodles beef was very chewy, so couldnā€™t eat it. Will be visiting tomorrow in person to obtain a refund, as tried to call and phone was put down, not a happy customer.

Food was great, I had no wait for almost 20 minutes to get it delivered. Service was great. They do offer delivery too. You should definitely try them out.

This Oriental Chef! South Woodford! Has a rubbish customer service! I ordered a pork in black bean sauce....and they gave me beef curry!! It's against my religion NOT TO EAT BEEF! so I had to go back and pick the pork dish...while the rest of the food was getting cold! They didn't even credit me to say sorry for getting my order wrong! Made me SICK!! I would steostro advise to check your order....! Also bad time keeping....they said a pick up order would be 15mins.....I had to wait 30 mins for the order.....other customers were angry.... waiting for food! I wouldn't even give this a star. Avoid if...

Asked how long delivery vs collection as I didn't want to go out ideally but said 20 mins max. Waited 20 minutes then left so took me 25 in total. Got there and waited another 20 minutes. Whilst there I asked if I get free coke for orders over 30. He said no its 35 and I spent 32. Even though they kept me waiting all that time they wouldn't even compensate me for the sake of Ā£3. Then when I get home I find two portions of spring rolls. I realised they give free ones for orders over 25. Instead of telling me that they charge me for one and give me one free. Disgusting. Food not all...
