An easy 5 star. One of the standout local Indian restaurants. In terms of quality up there with Grand Trunk (RIP) and Tandoor at the chambers. Went as a 4 and had: Starters - Chicken tikka big succulent bits of chicken. 6 large chunks which was a nice surprise - Veg Manchurian was different very tasty though - Chilli lamb was fragrent, spicy and delicious - Chaat huge portion, contrasting textures and different flavours in one colourful dish Mains Lamb Reesa special, butter chicken and murgh lababdar. All with rich sauces packing a wonderful flavour punch. If I'm being critical the mushroom rice was just okay and the naans not as fluffy as I normally like but it's still without a doubt a superb meal. On the pricier side but still good value for the quality. It's a shame it wasn't very busy on a Thursday night. Hopefully more people visit so it stays open!

Nicely decorated. When we visited the staff were very friendly and accommodating and we're giving out free prosecco. They do not offer what a traditional/mainstream Indian restaurant would do, however seems more specialised. The food is of a good to high quality with lovely presentation. It is a bit on the pricey side and I would have preferred bigger portions, however the dining experience along with the service justifies that.

We had an amazing 5th anniversary dinner here. Took a chance as this was our first visit and we weren't disappointed. Incredible food; the spinach kale starter was a winner (I know that sounds unlikely, but you should try it). The cocktails were tasty and strong. We also got a complimentary drink at the end (I think they realised we were celebrating). So glad to have such a lovely restaurant so close to where we live.

I have now visited Reesa’s 5 times. Their attention to detail, taste, customer satisfaction, beautifully arranged and served food has meant you can expect a great standard of tasty, fulfilling food. The last visit (last week) I brought another daughter and my two year old grandson. She loved the food and has told her friends to visit. My grandson loved the food and was saying “mmm, yummy!” So overall very happy visit and customers. Honestly even if you kinda have a fave Indian restaurant, give Reese’s a try, you’ll be pleasantly surprised and will see the difference from the rest, in taste, service & presentation! Bon appetite! I’ve posted pictures from our last visit. My daughter says the lamb byriani & butter chicken was amazing and though not a meat eater was impressed with the presentation, we’d never seen it presented that way before. The two chaats (colourful dishes) were punjabi samosa chat and the kale & spinach chat, delicious. Indian and Chinese paneer dish, beautiful and do try their Reesa special mocktail! When food is great I’m a happy bunny! 😍

This is my second visit to this restaurant. First was take away and I heard myself saying mmmm as I enjoyed the food. One week later came again with my daughter, food was again delicious. This time we ate in. On both occasions Kadeer was attentive, clearly wanting us to enjoy our food! Gave great advice on selections and generally looked after us. His service and attention to detail was much appreciated and made a mother/ daughter Friday night meal enjoyable. The restaurant decor and ambience was also really nice, pleasant and generally a really nice atmosphere. Would recommend and would definitely visit...

Sadly this was a dreadful experience. We popped in without booking and was delighted they had a table for two. We was taken to the back part of the restaurant. Our first thoughts were great, helpful staff, lovely decor. We then ordered bottle of wine and our food. Starters and Mains. The starters arrived and we had not even been served the wine. The wine was warm and although the manager offered to keep It on ice to cool, I wanted it with our meal which had already been started. We then waited about an hour for the main. I ordered Lobster tails and was told the delay was due to getting the lobster cooked well. The lamb dish arrived with nothing else! No plate, no sides! So that was almost cold by the time the rest of the food came. The lobster arrived looking absolutely beautiful but was so overcooked it was like eating rubber. We sent it back and advised it needed to be taken off the bill. Once everything was taken away, we was given the bill by the manager! Very disappointing. No offer of dessert or coffee! Everyone else around was complaining about their meals. I will say a delightful lady called Sam made this dreadful experience a little better. She was extremely apologetic and actually got me a coffee on house. Very kind. The coffee was really nice. The toilets have a hand air dryer which is so loud and every time it goes off we could hear this blast. Definitely recommend a quieter one or paper towels!!! They would be better to cater well for a few rather than letting people come in and not being able to cope which they clearly...

Sadly very disappointing experience. We had to wait for our main course for 90min and when finally arrived it wasn’t our food. We had to pass it to people next to us as they mixed up the tables. Then waiter came to ask us what exactly have we ordered as they didn’t seem to have it on the system. When our food finally arrived half of it was cold. No one offered another drink despite empty glasses. When asked for bill manager came back to ask what drinks we had. Seems like they had no idea what food or drinks we ordered. The bill also arrived after a long wait with no apology and in fact there were extra things we didn’t had. After complaining to the manager he asked if we are looking for a free meal as he can’t do that! I thought to say that it was so rude and unprofessional! At no point we asked not to pay for entire meal. We just asked to take one item off the bill, which arrived cold. It seem like manager of this place never worked in customer service. He even wanted us to pay service charge and had attitude towards whole situation. Everyone around us left complaining and manager didn’t really seem to care. Such a shame as some of food we had tasted nice but lack of customer service really lets this place down. There are many nice places in South Woodford to have nice dinner and this place certainly not one of...
