Papa Johns Pizza — Restaurant in London

Shocking. Just shocking. I've been ordering Papa John's regularly for the past 10 years, but my newlywed wife and I have been stunned at the poor customer service. We recently moved to the area and 'tried to' order over the phone. Big mistake. The lady we spoke to was blunt and uncompromising at every opportunity, to the point where we were unable to place an order with my card because it had an address that was different to the delivery address. This has never been an issue in 10 years of regular ordering through this chain. What's worse is that when my wife decided to place the order instead on her own card (which was registered to the delivery address), the grouchy lady then said "it still won't go through", while offering no alternative whatsoever - she basically sounded like she wanted to go home early.

Lo and behold, 2 days later we find out via online banking that my wife's card had been charged the full amount that day by Papa John's. No pizza. No rectification.

Just get food from somewhere...

FOR THE HEALTH OF YOURSELVES AND YOUR LOVED ONES, AVOID BUYING ANYTHING FROM THIS DIRTY SHOP!!!

I personally observed 3 members of staff handling anything from cash at the till to those pizza boxes which have probably touched every disgusting thing imaginable (especially popular with rats in warehouses) then go straight over to the food section to prepare food with their dirty, disease-ridden germ-house hands without washing them first or putting any kind of protective gloves on.

Less importantly, half of the pizza was missing any toppings so a large pizza had enough toppings only to cover a very small one. I have contacted them on a couple of occasions but have been completely ignored.

THIS SHOP IS DIRTY TO THE LIMIT AND SHOULD BE CLOSED IMMEDIATELY. I HAVE ALREADY REPORTED THEM TO ENFIELD COUNCIL TO START THE PROCEEDINGS

Very disappointed . a few weeks ago I ordered and waited almost three hours for a a couple of pizzas to arrive when I live less than a mile away. I called them after an hour and was told the pizza were in the oven but still ended up waiting almost another two hours. When they arrived it was cold and the bottle of drink was missing. Not as terrible as it should been as I we gave up and ended up ordering a curry which arrived and was eaten before papa showed up. I wasted my money but learnt a lesson when ordering pizza, don’t order from a pizza chain. Never ever again. P.S I did log a complaint through the PJ website to be told to contact the outlet directly.
