Neon Lit, Lovely Beautiful Settings. Flush With Cosy and Welcoming Decor....Pera is a must_try_for_your_self kinda place!!!! Early Birthday Celebrations with the Bottom Less Brunch Menu.... Plenty wine flowing (pause) Lawd Jesus came and turned ALL the water into wine!!!!!! But we were not drinking wine...holy no... we wanted the sweet looking cute cocktails and fancy named specials that came in tall sultry well dressed glasses!! Only God the Father, Son and Holy Ghost could have made the bar staff move faster because if rhythm was a dancer they were NOT dancing nor were they doing any running man with our drinks.... More like a lot of cha cha slide & shuffling behind the bar!! When the drink DID land back on our table I am sure the bar staff were conspiring to make sure I had a NICE time because 'WOI OI' my cocktails were ALL The way LIT!!!! đŸ”„10 10 10 for Mojito Peach and the Strawberry! Take into account I came in upright on 2 walking sticks I nearly needed a whole wheelchair to leave!!!! Lean Back was our anthem as we made our way prompt at 5.01pm... dunno HOW they done it but WE HAD AN AMAZING TIME!!!! Ali the Chef was very nice and came to greet us... The food was good and healthy portions, tasted yummy and my humous was truly heavenly! However the chips?... Now let me say 2 words: Bun Up! The chips were not pretty and cute like the pics you see online or on the actual menu! Good, Clean and Very Pretty Environment and Everything Nice Nice...just LONG waiting for drinks!! Otherwise I have no complaints maybe MORE bar staff to accommodate the bottomless brunch times????

We recently celebrated my daughter’s birthday at Pera Beckenham and it was an absolutely wonderful experience from start to finish. From the moment we walked in, the warm and inviting atmosphere made us feel at home. The dĂ©cor was stunning, with beautiful Turkish details that created such an authentic and cosy vibe. The staff were exceptional – attentive, friendly, and so accommodating. They went above and beyond to make the celebration special, even surprising my daughter with a lovely gesture, which she absolutely loved. As for the food, it was simply outstanding. Every dish was bursting with flavour, from the freshly baked bread and mezze to the perfectly grilled kebabs. The variety on the menu was impressive, and everything we tried was cooked to perfection. The baklava for dessert was the perfect way to end the meal – rich, flaky, and deliciously sweet. The combination of delicious food, exceptional service, and the lovely atmosphere made for a truly memorable evening. I would highly recommend Pera Beckenham for any special occasion or even just a casual meal – it’s an absolute gem. We can’t wait to return!

My friends and I have a lovely evening at Pera, the customer service was really good despite it being quite busy. Wine choice is good and the food was fantastic. We all agreed we would definitely come back here and would highly recommend it. Great menu choice. We have different starters lamb liver was tastee, the calamari was fresh and cooked perfectly. We all had Pera fish trio😋as our mains, I had it with sweet potato fries, my friends had theirs with saute potatoes. It was delicious we even had dessert which was a first. The homemade baklava was so nice (served warm) the chocolate fudge was just okay but my friend ate most of it. I think it needs 2 scoops of ice cream or cream option. My only negative was towards the end they open the front door and it was cold for me so I had to put on my coat. But I'm glad the evening was coming to an end.

If you're a non-vegetarian/vegan, feel free to skip this review.

This afternoon, my partner and I decided to try out this place for lunch. Our first impression was positive as we were welcomed by a nice interior decor, a relaxed environment with a small lunch crowd, and some decent background music.

The menu in the window outside promised good vegetarian/vegan options. However, upon browsing the actual menu inside, we found that the falafel wrap was marked out in Tipp-ex. We also noticed that a few dishes, previously labeled as vegan, had this distinction removed. This created some confusion and made the menu less straightforward to navigate.

For starter I chose the falafel and hummus, which turned out to be a delightful pick. It was served with fresh, delicious bread and was a perfect portion for sharing with my partner. Unfortunately, the main course selection proved to be more challenging due to the mentioned discrepancies.

One dish that usually catches my eye is a Vegan Burger, although perhaps not in a Mediterranean restaurant. The menu only listed it as a 'Vegan Burger', however, without any further description. Inquiring about the ingredients of the patty, the waiter was unsure so went to ask a colleague. After a couple of minutes, another staff member elaborated that it was a soy/wheat-based patty, a popular meat substitute.

Despite my reservations, I chose the Vegan Burger, which, in hindsight, was a bad choice considering the restaurant's overall style. The presentation of the burger was laughable, it resembled a child's meal from a roadside cafe. I would have been embarrassed to serve that to anyone even in my own home. If a restaurant decides to offer vegan options, they should ensure they meet the same high standards as their other dishes.

My specific critique for the vegan burger is that it was garnished with only half a slice of tomato and a skimpy amount of lettuce. To top it off, the patty was rather dry. Thankfully, the burger was accompanied by decent chips and ketchup, which provided some saving grace.

It was though, the worst Burger I've had in many years.

My suggestion would be to either improve or altogether eliminate the vegan burger from the menu, ensuring that every dish served reflects the overall quality that the restaurant aims to offer.

We also had a bottle of the house White Wine - a Spanish Chardonnay/Airén, which was very enjoyable.

Make the veggie options on the menu more clear and this restaurant will be a...

Horrible customer service. Had booked my twin girls 1st birthday party 2 months in advance. I clearly explained to the menager that it will be 30 people (maybe 35) and he said no problem at all. He said you can do it here or you can choose the basement, which I choose it to do it on the ground floor. It wasn’t quite busy two months back but as it got busier during summer why not squish me and my family on that horrible basement and keep the area up for the other costumers , double the money noo? The stress and worry they made me go through is unimaginable while I had sent the invitation and everything. Luckily I found another much more better place with outstanding customer service than this so called high rated restaurant. On top of that one of the guys working there offended me on turkish language calling me “maniak”which means crazy just because I wasn’t agreeing on their profitable plan. Another thing worth mentioning is , on the day of the booking they didn’t had any other booking except mine. Went there a week ago just to double check with them, so far so good. But yesterday magically all the restaurants was booked 🙄. Avoid at any cost especially if it’s an occasion and there’s people invited. They only accept 5 stars review . If anyone is unhappy with their food, service ect , their management team calls them liar and manipulates the situation on their behalf. Be minded of a woman working there, keeps a smile on while messing with your nerves around Just because it’s busy doesn’t give you the right to play with people. Wasted my precious time.

PS : these ppl keep writing “politely “ 😂 after my review , what you did to me it’s done now you can’t undo it. Just do your job and respect costumers no matter how much in demand is your useless restaurant, there are many others better. And stop LYING for god sake . I have NEVER NEVER said I have more than 40 ppl🙄. Now I’m so glad you did what you should’ve done so my precious girls will have an wonderful party away from your horrible , ungrateful staff. I suggest the owner to invest more in...

Went for a birthday dinner with two friends yesterday, I will start by saying that the food was delicious and quick to come out once we were finally able to order, zero issues with the chef, we all enjoyed our food! The service however was terrible. My friend booked a table for 3 at 7.30pm. There was not a table ready for us when we arrived despite the booking, we were sat at an unset table and given some menus. No one came to take a drinks order let alone a food order for over 30 mins after we had been seated. When we did order it was after we had managed to flag a member of staff down, we mentioned we’d been there for 35 mins but didn’t even get an apology. They took our drinks order and food order and the drinks came out only about 2 mins before the food. One person had just ordered a Coke, but when delivered they put it in front of her and then rudely said “Is this right, did you want Diet Coke?” To which she replied that no she ordered regular because she doesn’t like Diet Coke. It felt a bit pointed and uncomfortable. The other two drinks were a mocktail and a margarita, which were ok, but not on par with many others on the high street, we also asked for water, which never came. The food came out and was delicious, but we couldn’t tuck in straight away as still had no cutlery, they did get some fairly quickly though. One friend finished her food before myself and our other friend and they tried to clear our all out plates before we had finished eating, this time they did apologise though. Once we had finished some slightly off handed comments were made about if we were sure we didn’t need to eat more, it felt quite prickly rather than jokey. They also cleared our glasses but dashed off before we could order any more drinks. We then sat for another 45 mins with no one asking if we would like another drink or dessert. It again took a while to flag someone down so we could just get the bill and leave. We were all really disappointed with...
