Pitta Lab Authentic Greek Gyros & Souvlaki — Restaurant in London

This is the best Gyros I've ever had! Even my Greek other-half approved and that is rare for her to do outside Greece. She rates Holy Pitta in Angel for the traditional take, we like Olive Oil and Oregano in Stratford, but this place really masters everything. The chicken is well marinated and tasty, the chips are thick and perfectly cooked, the bread is warm and soft, and their signature sauce seals the deal - but they wouldn't share the secret ingredients. Highly recommended, and get the breaded halloumi too (wish this came with the sauce too!). Shame it's a bit hidden away, but make the trip for it....

My friend and I visited pitta lab a couple days ago and wow!! As soon as we walked in we were greeted by two lovely young ladies who made sure our entire experience was perfect, they explained the menu to us and radiated such positive energy throughout.

I went with the chicken gyros wrap which I loved! The flavours were incredible and the pitta lab sauce tops it! My friend went for a kebab Philadelphia box which she also really enjoyed, I’ll definitely be getting that next time! So hard to choose when everything looks so good!

The place wasn’t the easiest to find and the staff was not helpful at all when we came in. Didn’t acknowledge us for about 5’. Staff didn’t speak Greek and barely spoke English and ended up getting my order wrong. Instead of apologizing, the cook accused me of never mentioning I needed a change in my order (it was the very first thing I mentioned because of health reasons).
