Arrived about 7.40 on a Wednesday evening. Walked around the corner from the car park to see an amazing looking marquee, it looked lovely. We were approached by a lovely young lady, who politely informed us that the kitchen closes at 8.00 so best to get our orders in ASAP. Then an older gentlemen, staff I believe, thought it was ok to bellow across the room at us, "you should have called," shocked I said, "I beg your pardon," "you should have called and booked." Well outside on the sign it states you don't have to book," was our reply. He then bellowed across the room, "all I'm saying is you would be better off calling!". Came to Pizzeria on the green with a small group of my family members, Saturday 20th September....to celebrate My Birthday. Its always been my favourite place to eat and so close to our home... my dish is always the crab Ravioli and the vegetable soup..but I do some times try a different dish,, The food is not just good but extremely I would say outstanding, the staff are like our family to...they cater for all your requested needs and will always do best to achieve any request we need, I cannot wait to go back and with all of my family,, Or its just Me and my Husband George..
