King Rooster — Restaurant in London

I live 2 minutes away from here and a few years ago made the mistake of going here.

Today is Sunday and most shops don’t open.

I thought perhaps it will be different from last time, they changed the design and the inside of the takeaway so I had a little faith.

I went inside the shop and waited 5 minutes to be served. (It was the same boss man from those years ago)

I got a chicken fillet burger meal which is £7.50. 3 wings for £1.80

This was the worst food I’ve ever ate in my life.

He REFRIED the chips in front of me, I got cold terrible chips.

The chicken fillet was fried in the same fryer as well as the chips and was very poor quality just disgusting.

He gave me 4 chicken wings but I wouldn’t even count it that I got 1 actual chicken wing.

I am so sure that here they are using Pigeon as their chicken. Actually disgusting.

If you want food that’s close by to here, go to moxies fish bar, or funky fry across the street. Same price, but 100X...

To the guy that just served me at this establishment who asked me where I lived ( my address) to swing by as he “ needs more friends “ to come at 4am ( he said this 5 or 6 times) this is not normal behaviour and you have been reported to the police. No one needs to be harassed while ordering food no matter what time it is. What an odd conversation to have with someone....

This is a good place to grab some chicken and chips. The chips are crispy and fresh. The wings can be overly covered with batter/breadcrumbs and so are quite oily. Nevertheless, its still nice. The chicken piece (thigh, breast) taste very succulent. Pretty fast service too. Downside - they charge for sauces in the containers, and sometimes don't have freshly...
