Lovely products and store interior. Reminded me of wholefoods. Lovely aroma wafting around the organic self care section.. They had a rather compact and cute little atomiser puffing some serenity into the air.. Mmmm.😊.(they sell it in store as well)
Pity the 'lady' serving that section of the store didn't adhere to the social distancing protocol, and in fact any good manners as my daughter picked up an item off the shelf.. Saying "look mum this is open" .(it's called a gua'sha.. a face massaging tool for lymphatic drainage apparently. for those of us who didnt know 😳) . As I turned to respond.. This shop assistant marches over, Without a single word took the said item out of my daughters hand exclaiming.. "you are NOT allowed to open the items!!! " taking it forcefully away.
My daughter startled and taken aback by the physical contact responded with " I'm sorry it was open already" This apparently was not important or in fact acknowledged. The packaging looked distressed and the item was not in its proper place in the box. Its basically a rose quartz shiny oval shaped thing which has some ridges on one side. Costing an astronomical 25£'s The establishment really needs to retrain that member of staff to include how to speak to their customers... Playing devil's advocate I'd say.. In case she thought it Was indeed my daughter who had in fact opened the item.. She should have explained in a polite but firm manner and asked for her to please return the item onto the shelf. No harm done right? This shop assistance needs to otherwise take notes if she ever visits wholefoods.. Now whichever one I've visited whether here in the United Kingdom or in the USA they have lovely.. Helpful staff who are attentive and do what they've been hired to do.. And more to make a trip to the store a great experience all round! Needless to say I will not be visiting again anytime soon. Richmond wholefoods luckily isn't too far away. This It was around 5.30pm on the...
Read moreWe had a very unpleasant experience at the Ealing branch. My husband and I were out for a walk in the area and happened to park near your shop, so we decided to pop in for a quick browse. From the moment we stepped inside, the security guard began following us around, aisle after aisle, corner after corner. Despite plenty of other customers being in the shop, he chose to follow only us the entire time, which was blatantly obvious and made us feel extremely uncomfortable. We were dressed casually and appropriately, I was wearing an H&M outfit and my husband had on his zara shirt and Reiss jacket, so we certainly did not look suspicious or underdressed. The only visible difference was that I wear a headscarf, which leads us to believe we were being religiously profiled. It was completely unacceptable. We paid and left immediately, as we stepped outside we looked back and the security guard had went right back to his stationary spot as he was before we walked in. Which only further confirmed the whole situation. We will be sharing this experience with friends and family so they can avoid the shop as well. Experiences like this have no place...
Read moreUsually I go to this place regularly with no issues but today I encountered a rude cashier who hurried me along as I was reading the ingredients on a packet. There was no one on the queue behind me - he just felt the need to be passive aggressive. Such poor customer service.
He was a young Causcasian man, dark brown hair (almost black), longish medium length style, slim tall frame with facial hair.
I hope management sees this and corrects his customer service because based on this I likely will not return to the store. Very unpleasant. I'll find somewhere else to buy my expensive...
