Wack! Maybe I (we) came on a bad day? Your saving grace? The almond croissant. Absolutely DELICIOUS. We intended on ordering the hash and bacon meal, but we were told that they were out of potato menu items(main & side options). And yet, while we were eating the guests next to us (who ordered after us) were served hash bravas with bacon. Uhhh. Okayyyyyy. Please get a new Earl Grey blend. Absolutely, no bergamot in your teabag. Also, is it really that hard to get sugar? I'll bring my own next time ๐ We ordered 4 items in total: My almond croissant came first. After a bit, my companions latte. A few minutes later, my tea. Five minutes after that, my companions breakfast. We never said a word. Just let the whole painful experience play out. May I offer some advice? Some guests (maybe not all), but some, would prefer to eat at the same time as their companion. Crazier notion: some like eating their food and drinks at the same time together. But yeah, sure. The whole vibe was nice ๐๐ฝ ๐
We get it. Y'all didn't like us.
Again, I never said a word, but I'm sure my face said every crazy thought I...
ย ย ย Read moreSince finding this place I have become a regular customer. Mainly because of the location; the cafe has two big windows on both sides, letting a lot of natural light in with the view on beautiful streets of West Kensington. Also, the speciality coffee and food is amazing with interesting selection of focaccia sandwiches, classic brunch dishes (e.g., avocado and salmon toast) and tasty cakes and pastries, including extraordinary, delicious matcha and white chocolate brownie. They also sell pizzas which I have not tried yet and alcoholic drinks such as bottled beers, ciders, wine and cocktails, including exceptional mezcal negroni. Stuff members are also super nice and the cafe is dog friendly! I am very happy that I have found out about this place. Also, if you are a fan of Taylor Swift, the music selection won't disappoint you either! ๐๐ The only thing that I dislike are small tables and uncomfortable seats by the window next to the toilet. There is no space for two people to work on the laptop. Also, the chairs are either too low or too high...
ย ย ย Read moreI woke up in bourgeois west London and I really wanted something nice and easy to eat. Popin coffee and brunch was highly suggested and it seemed right up my street. This is a cute establishment, as soon as you walk in you feel like gobbling up some eggs. I love art and there is some artwork on the wall which gives this place character. We ordered smashed avocado with smoked salmon and creamed spinach poached eggs, streaky bacon and sauteed mushrooms. The brunch was amazing, I really enjoyed the meal. I was told that I should order the classic banana bread, so I did.... And the dark chocolate and walnuts banana bread with a glass of homemade orange juice. Both cakes were sublime, juicy, packed full of flavour. My compliments to the chef. The staff are lovely as well, the service is great, they have a smile on their face and we didn't have to wait long for our order. If you're in the west Kensington area and you want to eat some eggs. Come here, you will not be...
