Ranya Cafe sandwich — Restaurant in London

I stumbled across Ranya Cafe by accident. I almost went into a posher looking place opposite, but I'm so glad I didn't. I've sampled most cafes in the area but this might be the best coffee I've had for a very long time and it was £2. I asked the owner how he achieved such high quality and he gave me a whole back story about the suppliers, the grinding time, the amounts they keep in the hoppers, way too much detail to relay here. And then there was the food. The falafel wrap was excellent, a really wonderful combination of sauces and spices, served warm with really fresh salad inside. I sat out the back in the sun, amongst the bright cushions, immersed in a lovely friendly atmosphere. Would give less than 1 if i could. Absolutely disgusting place!Cannot judge the coffee because popped in there only to use internet, but based on what i saw wouldn't even try their products. Place is extremely dirty, dark, loudy,full of horrible smell from owner's friends smoking next to the entrance. All of them were speaking their language which i found a bit rude and unfriendly. The place does lovely coffee, sweets and sandwiches for such good value for money. It’s a true community cafe, with internet stations for people who need to get online. The chef is so welcoming all the time and goes out of his way to make sure everyone gets what they like.
