Boots — Local services in London

It is always a pleasure to purchase goods from this store. Even more so when I get to see the wonderful Mazher, or Maz as he is affectionately known as.

He is a warm, polite, friendly, knowledgeable, hard-working member of the Boots team – both in the retail and pharmacy department – who always gives great customer service. This is not just exclusive to me. He also has a knack of assisting customers including myself in a non-invasive manner.

My interactions with Maz are always fun filled. It would be great if he could be cloned and placed in every retail environment. Of course, there is only one Maz and I am happy he works at this store.

As much as I adore him, the rest of the team also offer warm customer service. None of that over-the-top nonsense which I cannot stand. There are one or two staff members I would rather not interact with.

The few times I have used the pharmacy; I have found the team to be very patient and understanding.

A small Boots which tries its best to stock as much items as possible and goes through managers like hot cakes. The current one is nice.

This store has a very serious problem with shoplifters. On countless occasions I have witnessed shoplifters brazenly filling their bags (probably stolen) as soon as the opportunity presents itself, which is often.

The staff who are already busy take on the extra job role as security to try and combat this.

It would be a good idea to employ 2 security guards. When one goes on a break the other can take over. This would ensure staff carry on with their jobs in a relaxed manner without having to take on the extra responsibility of...

Very poor experience. Staff showed a lack of basic communication skills and zero professionalism.

I tried to collect an electronic prescription, but the staff seemed uninterested and unhelpful. I was repeatedly left waiting with no clear instructions, and even when I offered my NHS app barcode, I was told they couldn't print it due to a broken printer.

Eventually, I went to another pharmacy, only to learn that Boots still held my prescription, preventing others from dispensing it.

Came in today to buy over the counter product. Waiting as the customer assistant helped a customer. Noticed a Filipino sales assistant was available behind the pharmacy counter asked if she could serve me as she could see i had been standing there a long time and she wasnt doing anything.
