Rice & Peas — Restaurant in London

This place is an absolute joke, me and my family normally order from here and have known the owner for years and was so shocked when I made an order on Uber eats and received the most driest white rice and off coloured Gungo peas instead of a nice traditional red kidney beans and rice what I have known and grown up with. When I called all the patronising woman could turn around and say was get a refund from Uber eats and she also said did you put in the notes that you want the red kidney beans which was the icing on the cake how uncanny when your shop is called Rice & Peas but yet its the worst I have ever seen in my whole life. Rice and peas the first time the food I ordered via justeat was exceptional. This time however it has arrive on time yet cold. What is more you didn't provide the same standard as last time. I don't know what happened to day but I am disappointed. that being said, I would like to try you again in the future to see if today was a one off as you have great reviews from past customers. Quick question the coco bread and jerk is advertised as coming with a drink and coleslaw this is not the case when you order via justeat why is this please? Was on the way to a Dulwich Hamlet game when I walked past and decided I would have a pattie as I walked to the stadium. The lady behind the counter was friendly, so I also took a large jerk chicken & rice with spicy gravy to eat at the stadium. What a treat I was in for. The chicken fell from the bone and was spiced beautifully with the jerk seasoning. And the rice & peas were a perfect compliment. The portion was a good size. It really made my day despite Dulwich losing in a drab game on a wet and windy day. For the price, it was outstanding value. I would happily travel from Guildford to East Dulwich again for the food alone....
