Rio's Piri Piri Holloway — Restaurant in London

Unfortunately, my recent experiences at Piri Piri in Holloway have been quite disappointing, prompting me to reevaluate my review. On my first visit, I faced the issue of missing chips from my order, and the subsequent interactions were less than pleasant.

During my second visit, when I attempted to address the ongoing issue with the missing food, I asked to speak to the manager. The staff member I approached responded with an attitude, claiming to be the manager and pointing towards someone behind him. When I requested to speak to that individual, he gave a dismissive reply, stating that the manager was busy. I was taken aback by the disrespectful tone I received. Only after I stressed the problem did the staff member finally consult with the actual manager to arrange for replacement chips.

While the Frango Double Portuguese chicken breast burger's exceptional flavors and the restaurant's inviting ambiance still retained their appeal, the slower ordering process during peak hours and the inconsistency in staff friendliness remained problematic. Although most staff members provided attentive service, the negative experiences with a few tarnished the overall friendly atmosphere that the establishment aims to maintain.

As a result of these unfortunate encounters, I regret to say that I will not be returning to Piri Piri in Holloway. Furthermore, I've decided to delete the app. Despite the enjoyable aspects of the food and atmosphere, the recurring service issues and unpleasant interactions have left a lasting negative impression, making it difficult for me to continue my patronage.

In light of these disappointing experiences, I've made the decision to downgrade my Google review of Piri Piri in Holloway to better reflect the issues I encountered. Absolutely awful! Placed an order with uber eats and it was delivered within a couple of minutes of the maximum time. That was only the beginning of the problem.

We're only a few minutes down the road, what was the issues? It wasn't the delivery guy.

The fries were so hard, cold and stale they must've been a few days old. Absolutely inedible!

The milkshake was so watered down and runny, you could barely taste any chocolate. There were lots of ice chips in the bottom of the cup.

The burger was nice, although the buns were cheap and cheerful, slightly better burger buns and these would be really good.

The fried chicken and spicy wings were the only decent thing.

It's a shame, I picked up food from here once before and the food was great.

It would have been a 1 star review if it wasn't for the fried chicken.

Not sure I'll got back again.
