Ronak — Restaurant in London

I have been going to Ronak Restaurant for about 36 years, perhaps longer, the food has never changed, it is excellent vegetarian food, very unusual all those years ago but now English people are much more comfortable with this style of cooking. I feel as if the prices have been the same for years, it really is very good value. I have tried several other similar places in Drummond Street, by Euston Station, but the problem with them is that you often get very noisy groups of workmates or friends and the evening is not relaxed. Quite a bizarre experience here. It's more of a takeaway place than a restaurant, but don't let that put you off as the food has a homemade quality and is overall very tasty, and great value for money.

However they're not prepared to serve meals without plastic, even after commenting on this. Plastic containers, plastic cutlery, plastic cups. Disgusting. It's simply lazy and inconsiderate to the environment. I do not condone this poor attitude.

The different containers of food also arrived at different temperatures - some hot, others lukewarm or cold. I hope the owners will take this into consideration as it's not a way to run...
