Dining at Rosa’s Thai in Angel was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment I stepped in, I was met with warm hospitality, incredible food, and a wonderfully inviting atmosphere. Hassan and Aof, the managers, run the restaurant with such care, passion, and attention to detail. Their leadership clearly shines through every part of the service. The real star of the front of house, though, is Mirella—the undisputed Queen of Hospitality. Her welcoming smile, attentiveness, and ability to make every guest feel special truly elevate the dining experience. The food was fantastic—beautifully cooked by the talented Chef Srijan, who clearly knows how to bring out authentic Thai flavours in every dish. Everything I ate was perfectly balanced, fresh, and full of heart. The restaurant itself is spotless—super clean and beautifully maintained. The lighting is warm and calming, with soft candlelight adding a cosy charm, and the music is at the perfect level—not too loud, not too quiet—just right for enjoying your meal and your company. What stood out most was the genuine care and attentiveness from the entire team. Every customer is treated with kindness and respect, with great attention paid to dietary needs and allergies. It’s rare to see such consistent quality and sincerity in service. If you’re looking for the best Thai food in London served by an incredible team in a spotless and welcoming setting, look no further than Rosa’s Thai Angel. Huge thank you to Hassan, Aof, Mirella, and Chef Srijan for making the experience unforgettable!

The place is nicely fitted out so it’s a comfortable place to catch up with a couple of friends and the food was in general pretty good. Lots of delivery drivers were coming in and out so it is definitely popular. The service in the restaurant however was laughable. I think there were some serious communication issues, and perhaps a language barrier. The waiter couldn’t describe the dishes, confused our orders, failed to let us know when things were unavailable promptly and generally couldn’t seem to keep up with his tables. First he brought out a ginger tea rather than a ginger beer. Then ten minutes later he came to say the cocktail two of us had ordered wasn’t available. 15 minutes later he brought over 1 of the replacement drinks and said the other alternative was also unavailable. I ordered another but it never arrived. We had asked to share a portion of rice for two green curries, but he brought out one green curry and one bowl of rice. When he returned with a second green curry it sadly wasn’t as good as the first, a bit oily on top (as in the photo). It was by no means a terrible experience, and the food was tasty when/if it arrived. Staff need more training!

Refused eat in table 90 mins before close. Only interested in delivery orders & white customers who were allowed to eat in. Hi Paolo. Thanks for your reply. Very funny that it’s come to your attention I came in on a Sunday at 9:30 when I came at 9pm on a Wednesday 1st December when you close at 10:30? See the receipt. This behaviour must be standard practice at Rosas. The fact you wasn’t there so aren’t aware of your facts clearly shows you are attempting to disregard our experience as black and mixed race women in your restaurant. Very quick to call my experience completely untrue and baseless without even having the correct date. Don’t worry; I wouldn’t dare visit again when this is now the practice. As you can see I am a repeat customer and previously had a great experience. That however does not negate from my experience 2 weeks ago. With that in mind, I would suggest you make actual investigations before you accuse and dismiss peoples views.

Where do I even begin with this restaurant...since the manager Luke seems to be confused about the issue with our experience (judging by his lengthy, unprofessional replies to previous reviews), I'll do my best to break it down for him. The food itself was quite awful. That was not the reason for our complaints, hence why we didn't mention it to Luke. But considering this is a review for potential future customers, that's why it is being mentioned. The service we received was the reason for our complaints. When asking the waitress, Mirelle, for a sauce she didn't actually end up bringing us anything, but was instead clearing others' plates. No worries, she might have forgotten. When we asked Luke for the sauce instead, he did bring it...with a screwed up look on his face. We then sat down for 40 minutes waiting to catch a waiter's attention to take our plates so we could pay the bill and leave. Instead they both continued to walk past our table avoiding eye contact, with their attentions elsewhere. Although it was busy, they had time to clean up others' plates and provide them with the bill (who had come a long time after we had). We weren't asking for immaculate service just to simply pay and leave. When we finally got the bill, we requested the service charge be removed. To which Mirelle replied with 'Actually I agree.' and stormed off. Now according to Luke the manager this is an appropriate response because she followed our request. How lovely of her to admit that the service was in fact abhorrent and that she agrees that we weren't being treated nicely at all!! Then she simply didn't bring out the card machine for us to pay, which left us waiting patiently for another 15 minutes (at this point restaurant is not busy at all because everyone who was once there with us has left.) When 2 of us went up to Luke asking to speak to the manager, he said 'About what' bluntly. When we explained our reasons he ignored us and gave no response. Instead he printed another bill, handed it to me and said 'There you go.' We told him we needed the card machine not the bill and he said nothing, but came to our table 5 minutes later We asked him if he was the manager and he said he was. We explained how we were very unhappy with our experience to which he shrugged his shoulders. To say that was rude would be an understatement. I told him he was very disrespectful which he then said we were the disrespectful ones. Luke has said in his replies that we didnt explain why we wanted an apology but I'd love for him to explain how we were being disrespectful when we spent 2.5 hours there doing our best not to inconvenience them since they were busy. Our response was only a retaliation to how curt he was acting with us. At no point before this did we disrespect him. You cannot be ill mannered and expect anyone to smile in response, customers or not. After we paid he mumbled something about 'the attitude' and we asked 'whose attitude?' to which he replied 'both of ours'. Another example of them admitting to their awful display of service

Claims of discrimination were only brought up because of how uncomfortable we felt during this whole ordeal whilst being ignored in a restaurant where we were the minority. We never asked for free food or compensation. We only asked for an apology at the time of this disrespect, which we did not receive. This review is only a warning to anyone who wishes to visit in the future. Not sure what type of establishment uses google reviews to argue but after meeting Luke I can't say...

Yes let’s absolutely dig into my review. As I said before we were NOT greeted, we walked inside and the pair of you stared blankly from across the counter at the front. The word ‘hello’ or the phrase ‘do you have a booking’ did not leave either of your mouths. It wasn’t until my friend approach your waitress that we were seated. When I had spoken to you I acknowledged it was busy ( saying the restaurant was full is an overstatement) regardless of that both of your customer service were beyond poor. It is not something you switch on and off depending on what customers you’re dealing with and if the restaurant is empty or packed. It’s also not my problem if you don’t have enough people working on such a ‘busy’ day. Yes our starters were fine and actually the only okay thing about this whole situation. However the 5/6 of mains were terrible and that was very evident from the amount of food that was leftover on our plates. The rice was burnt and the garlic in it was literally black on top of that the chicken was overcooked. This wasn’t mentioned when we had spoken because your awful attitudes became the stars of the show lol. The sauce was not brought over straight away as we had originally asked the waitress and she never returned to the table which is why we asked you. We asked you one other question which was where the bathroom was which you didn’t even use your words to respond with and simply pointed with your elbow. We were absolutely ignored I watched your waitress take the time to check on and interact with every other table apart from ours. My point about the service charge was just to prove that your waitress was well aware she had given us terrible service as what server who knows they’ve done a good job so quickly agrees to take it off and secondly doesn’t ask why or what happened for us to want to remove it. When we interacted I was very clear you thought otherwise because you were choosing not to understand this was VERY evident from your attitude and the fact that you were shrugging your shoulders and screwing up your face as a response. We didn’t demand nor ask for anything to be removed from our bill apart from the service charge. We asked for an apology because the way we’re treated was beyond awful. I mentioned our race and religion because most of the other people there were white, we were the minority and you and your waitress 100% treated us differently. After reading some of your other reviews that’s clearly a common theme at your lacklustre establishment as well as you guys just having awful customer service.

I visited this branch today and had just an awful experience. Upon arrival nobody greeted us and they just simply stared. The food was atrocious and burnt, nobody came to check on us we were ignored for the 2 hours we were there. We asked to take the service charge off because of all this and Mirelle the waitress who was serving us responded with ‘I actually agree’ and stormed off. The manager Luke was no better as when we asked to speak to him he had a terrible attitude, shrugging his shoulders and screwing his face up whilst we shared what we experienced. This was blatant discrimination as me and my friends were black and hijabis. If I could give 0 stars i absolutely would I will not be coming back...
