🍴🍚 - Earlier this evening I Enjoyed a Delicious Thai Meal at Rosa's Thai In Tooting. This Was My First Time eating at a Rosa's Thai and It Was Extremely Delicious 😊😋. I Thought I would "Treat Myself" whilst Out, for my Now Monthly After Therapy Session Dining Out! I looked for Places Nearby and Rosa's Came Up on Google Maps with a 4.7 Star Rating and with Recent Glowing Reviews, My Decision Was Made....... It's been AGES, TOO LONG since I had a Thai Meal..... I Wasn't Disappointed! I had Thai Prawn Crackers to Appetizer On, Followed by Sweetcorn Fritters for my Starter. I then had Rosa's Thai Style Fried Rice with Chicken. I was Eager to "Complete" my Meal so I had Thai Churros with Condensed Milk. This was Washed down with Coca-Cola Original and Tap Water......... The Verdict........ Absolutely Delicious 😋 the BEST if Not One of the Best Thai Meals I've Had! 😋😋😋. I had my Usual Thai Dishes (Sans Dessert which was New for Me with the Condensed Milk) and Rosa's Really Pushed Out the Flavour and Sweetness with both the Sweetcorn Fritters and Fried Rice..... I LOVED IT. ..... In Fact I WILL BE BACK NEXT MONTH to try Some of the Other Dishes 😊. Those Glowing Reviews Were Not Fake! Although It's a Chain it Didn't Feel Like It, Go and Check out a Rosa's Near You .... until Next Time! - 🍚🍴

My friend and I were catching up on Monday for a couple of drinks, and she asked me if I had plans for later, and I said no. Straight away, both of us said, Rosas?? We loved this place; the food is always stunning, and we have tried a lot of dishes from the menu. This time, I went from the popcorn shrimp to the fried calamari. Both of them were amazing, but the popcorn was top-notch! Also, both of us went for the panaang curry! What a dish! She went for the coconut rice, and I went for the sticky rice (it was ok). Next time, I will get the jasmine rice. I feel like it would be a better combination! Of course, we carried on drinking, and we got the Singapore beer. I really liked it, and I got two of them. The service was quick, super helpful, and friendly, and the food came on time and hot! If you’re in Tooting and you want Thai, this is your place. It’s opposite Sainsbury's, next to the Tooting Broadway station. I recommend this place, and I’m sure I’ll be back super soon!

Really great restaurant, food is always amazing, can’t go wrong with anything on the menu… and I have done my best to try it all. The staff are incredibly welcoming, and create a wonderful environment to eat in. The front of house are attentive and warm. In our 20+ visits, they’ve always been the same staff, and it’s nice to feel like you build a familiarity. The chef’s are amazing, as previously mentioned, I’ve never eaten something here that I didn’t love. I couldn’t recommend Rosa’s Thai Tooting enough, it’s definitely worth a try if you love Thai food. And if you’ve never tried Thai before, neither had I, but this place sold me!

I love Rosa! I used to live in Shoreditch and go to original Rosa’s cafe near BrickLane well before it got very popular and spread across London. But after few years living in SW London I was so happy to find a more local Rosa’s Thai kitchen in Tooting. My favourite green curry with rice and spring rolls was still on the menu! It was Mother’s Day Sunday and I decided to treat myself and get a take away from there as my youngest one unfortunately had to stay in the nearby hospital for that weekend. I didn’t want to sit in, just get my favourite food and go as he wasn’t feeling at his best. Just before entering the cafe, I noticed a large sandwich board with an advertisement on that said mother’s get treated to a free glass of bubbly or bubble tea on Mother’s Day Sunday. That sounded like a nice touch especially that we have been in the hospital and the weather outside was dreadful on that day. I placed my order for take away and asked for my bubble tea but was refused it as I wasn’t dining in! What a silly rule - celebrating only those mother’s on Mother’s Day who choose to dine in!? What is the difference? I’m still a Mum whether I sit in your cafe or take your food away to eat it elsewhere. If you decide to treat Mums on a Mother’s Day with a free drink then make it equal for everyone so all Mums feel special (no matter where they choose to eat your food!)

This experience left me with bitter sweet feelings so I wish you all the best Rosa’s Thai Kitchen in Tooting but I most likely won’t be coming back to dine in or to...

A disappointing experience.

I travelled out of my way, to try their pad Thai as my friend lives nearby and said it was good.

I order pad Thai at least twice a week, from approx 5-6 restaurants around London.

Unfortunately the takeaway order I placed, the portion was very small. It did not fill the container. I am a female who doesn’t eat large portions, and I will now need to find something else for dinner tonight. It was about 1/3 less than you would get at any other Thai restaurant (I typically order in Clapham, Chelsea, Balham areas) and it cost £2-3 more than other restaurants I go to.

The food was fresh but did not have very varied ingredients. There were not many prawns in it.

When I addressed the portion sizes and explained I regularly order pad Thai from London restaurants, I felt really dismissed by the staff. They said they would pass along the feedback but that they don’t get complaints about portion sizes. I felt really undervalued as a customer at their response. They clearly didn’t take it seriously and that’s really disappointing. It kind of just makes the whole experience worse. If you are looking for good Thai food, maybe try another local restaurant. There are a couple nearby with better...
