Was looking forward to trying this place, but thoroughly disappointed. The service is painfully slow. There were 4 people in front of me, and it took 20/25 minutes to get served. The person before me ordered a chicken bagel. I am a vegetarian and ordered a veggie/vegan item from the menu. I was shocked when the server didn’t think it was appropriate to change his gloves to make my bagel after they had been used to handle the chicken and other meat items from the customers in front of me. I had to request for him to change his gloves and restart my order. I was also told that they we're out of olives and if I was happy with them substituting in some capers, which I agreed to. Didn't realise that I'd be given 4 measly capers. The bagel wasn't expensive, 3.33£, but don't even think it was worth that.

Being accustomed to eating Brick Lane beigels (Beigel Bake) I am always sceptical about bagels from anywhere else. But these were awesome. Not at good as Bagel Bake (because, c'mon that's never happening) but very very good. I got the salt beef. Excellent quantity and quality, American mustard rather than English - which, in my opinion works better coz it's less harsh - and lovely chewy bagels. Have returned once already since my first purchase and will hurry back. 🙌🏼

Wow wow wow. Amazing bagels, cheap prices. A charmingly creative menu that will leave you intrigued and salivating. Excellent veggie options. Lunch in London for £3? What’s not to like. The head honcho Abdi sums up everything wonderful about Peckham and will always greet you with a smile and an array of pumping euro trance beats booming from his decks. Will miss this place dearly as a part of my daily routine, until the next time.

Started queuing mainly because our toddler was busy having a cow and I was kind of curious. Once kid was calm, the whole queuing thing was actually kind of fun. A clear purpose with no pressure. Then the bagels. The menu is odd. Contains things that really shouldn't work and the slightly Kabalic pricing. However, chef took his time on each sandwich with fresh ingredients, generous fillings and great attention to detail. Ingredients run out but I am guessing that most items are worth the wait. Eat them straight away to avoid your creation turning into a soggy mess! Proof that some people still give a shit and modern life is not totally rubbish....

I visited this exciting new little food place last week with a friend. I had a Salt Beef Bagel with pickles for lunch, it was truly excellent, very tasty and filling too! Good price too and speedy service (which is needed because the queue was already building as soon as we got there just after noon!) It really is a little hidden gem, even though it’s on Rye Lane, but if you spot a queue and see excited faces trying to keep all the fillings in their Bagel, then you know you’ve found it. I can’t wait to visit...
