Sabor Latino by Nanito’s — Restaurant in London

Botellón Latino is the best Colombian restaurant in Tottenham and possibly London. The food is very high quality, authentic, good value and filling. Every morning Colombian pastries, cakes and bread are freshly baked and there is a wide selection. In my personal opinion all the food is excellent but my favourites I would recommend would be The Colombian Breakfast, Soup of the Day and the Bandeja Paisa. I have honestly never left this place hungry whenever I have dined. The atmosphere is cosy and clean, they have comfy lounge type seating, a full bar, outdoor seating, TV's at each corner of the restaurant as well as music. It makes you feel as if you are at home, the service is very good and attentive no matter what they want you to leave happy. The first time I dined here the chef even came out from the kitchen to ask if I liked the food. Always come here you won't regret it! Another thing to mention is that their preferred method of payment is cash so be prepared to have money on hand ...

Overall the food has good flavour , but they need to work on few things . I understand basmati rice is cheaper but it doesn’t go with Colombian food , it gives the food a different flavour . The mincemeat in the bandeja paisa is not made the right way , they just use the ground beef from the supermarket which is not great . The sancocho was costilla but then i found pieces of chicken , which obviously shows they use left overs soup from the day before . Tostones appetiser , not sure why they add a horrible salad bathed in dressing . It should just be the plantains with guacamole. I came in here this morning for a coffee with a friend. The gentleman that served me did not respond to basic social cues such as smiles and politeness. When I asked for another coffee it eventually came and he requested £2 in his monotonous tone, no please at the end of it. I thought he was impervious to smiling but he managed to smile for his Spanish speaking customers. I’m pro supporting local businesses and perhaps they don’t need my money.
