Superdrug — Local services in London

My favourite Superdrug, I’m happy they removed Peacocks and put Superdrug there. Now that it’s much bigger I am able to buy and find more stuff. Staff are nice and helpful except from this girl that works behind the counter, she is short and has brunette hair. She can be pushy (one time she asked me if I wanted any masks that was on the counter where they serve and I said no thank you, I’ve got plenty of masks at home (which I do) and she proceeded to tell me the offers and basically forced me to buy it after I said no number of times. Another encounter with the same lady, I told her that the manager discounted this item for me because it was slightly damaged (cracked lid and last one on the shelves) and she looked at me disgustingly and proceeded to call the manager and the manager agreed with the discount and started to act in a rude manner. I try to avoid getting served by that particular lady cause if her behave. Management needs to do something about her...

Staff and Security follow people all around and make them feel uncomfortable, as if all customers are there to steal. Be careful at their so-called offers, as they put stuff on sale like 1/2 price, but don't make it clear and you end up paying a lot. The initial price is written with tiny characters on a left corner, which is misleading because you would think it is half price of the price advertised in bigger characters on the right side. Basically, the price you see for some creams it is final and already cut in half, but it's not explained properly. Also, at the till some discounted products are not showing up, so you have to check your receipt and argue with them. Then, they have to go at the actual shelf and check. The staff do not say I'm sorry, our bad etc. when mistaken. Makes you feel like you are bothering them or something. I'm not sure I will be returning...

Lovely store, good layout and easy to navigate around. I would say decent amount of stock, some stuff they stock the nearest 6 other branches to me don’t have. Staff are friendly and supportive even in these bad times. They try and make your shopping easy as possible. The only issue I had that made this branch lose one star was, I completed a click and collect to store, picked up all my goods. When I took it home there was a pungent smell coming out from the outer packaging of the goods when I opened the seals. The only reason I could think of is that there stock fumed some of the outside somehow. Once you put it in the sink and give it a good wash...you couldn’t tell it was smelly before. This was the first time in this store. I have been to many other, never had...
