After ordering an octopus ingredient and seeing that the octopus had some rings on it, and wanting to make sure that it was a blue ring octopus (which is known to be poisonous), the waitress confirmed that it was not and then started attacking us with very mean language saying that blue ring octopus is very expensive and that we would not serve it to us, and that she obviously did not know what blue ring octopus was and kept emphasising that it was very expensive. And she kept coming over during our meal to explain how we were going to eat the bibimbap, and said that the barbecue was to be eaten with the bibimbap and all sorts of things, and came to our table at least eight times or more in less than an hour of eating, making the meal very unpleasant for my friend and me. She made the meal very awkward. At the very beginning of my order she hinted at me to order one more plate of beef, and during the bbq there was a hint for me to add a plate of kimchi. When I responded to another waiter about this, he just said to compensate us with a bottle of sparkling water, not feeling sorry at all. Never come to this horrible restaurant again , especially as I clearly felt discriminated against when the waitress learnt of my country. Sorry this resto doesn't live up with the 4.6 ratings on the internet. Discovered this resto thru an instagram reel. Went to this as it was close to our accommodation. This is not a legit Korean resto, no offence. Not owned by Korean. So expect that the food is not real korean taste. The staff messed up with our orders three times, kept serving us the wrong item. You'll leave the place smelling like BBQ. No proper ventilation. The food is expensive! 1 starter, 2 mains, 2 drinks but we ended up paying almost £90. The side dishes are not free, you gotta order it if you want some and it's pricey!💲 You go to a resto feeling very hungry. Obviously, you wouldn't remember telling the staff about your allergy, but they didn't bother asking us about any allergies. Our food has shrimp in it and I'm allergic to shrimp 🦐 so it was just my partner who had the soup in the end. They served the mains first then midway, they served the starter. Surprise pre wedding Valentine's date with my beloved lady who was very impressed. Booked online and confirmed with venue. Slightly colder air at seats next to window not would be lovely in the summer. Moved with no fuss next to the bar and had Grape Sake and a beer to start with mushrooms, spinach and chicken feet. My lady really enjoyed and said they're closer to Nigerian style. My cold spinach had velvety smooth flavour and the mushrooms and sauces were delightful. Unfortunately we arrived at 21:50 and kitchen closes at 22:00 so all good arrived quickly and together but we dug in really enjoyed my chicken and her seafood noodles. Deffo more protein than veg filler which we appreciate. Great portions so given containers to take good home. Staff ate after also and witnessed us swapping gifts, all were very attentive and cordial to the end. Absolutely will love to visit here again as the food and service were on point.
