Tiny little cafe that I stumbled across when looking for a place nearby. Thought I'd try bit out at about 11am and sit down with a nice capp. Unfortunately, it was packed even at that time, so takeaway it was!
Coffee was pleasant but not amazing. I fully appreciated the sizing. No latte masquerading as a massive cappuccino here. These are properly sized and real cappuccino drinkers will appreciate it. Starbucks drinkers will not. One staff member (the man) was very friendly and welcoming, and service was fairly quick from the barista.
It's just too bad that like so, so many speciality cafes everywhere, people just camp there on their laptops. With such limited seating, I would have hoped it was for people who actually want to have a coffee, not leech off wifi and do their Factime, WFH, or digital nomad stuff.
It wasn't totally unexpected to have to do carry out, as London's coffee culture seems to be heavily orientated to the "on the go" type. I just was a bit bummed to see so many spots taken up by laptop users when there are so very few available.

Ā Ā Ā Read moreSaint Nine coffee has been on my list for a while, so I finally got to try it on a Friday morning. The place is small with limited seating, but has big windows that allow for a lot of light. If you sit by the window you also get to people watch while enjoying your coffee.
I asked the barista which coffee (filter or latte) he would recommend, and after explaining what kind of coffee they were. He offered to let me try some of the filter and while I got the latte. Both were very delicious and unique in their own way. The latte was smooth and naturally sweet. The filter had a unique strong flavor. I enjoyed both very much. I also had a cinnamon bun with the coffee, which was nice but not flaky enough for my taste. Highly recommend this place if youāre a...

I have ADHD so this type of thing is annoyingly common for me. When I asked them for a new card and lamented Iād lost my old one (I didnāt mention ADHD because I never want it to sound like Iām using that as an excuse), without hesitation the nice guy behind the counter asked me how many stamps Iād had and he put them on my new card! Such a kind gesture and meant a lot to me. For once the āADHD taxā didnāt...
