This is a fast food place that serves pots of pasta with a small selection of sauces along with some salads and sandwiches. I had the arrabbiata. I had expected it to be slightly spicier but it tasted nice but the portion size was a bit small. Despite being in a location near tourist sites such as Tate Modern, Globe Theatre and Exhibition, and Menier Chocolate Factory Theatre, it does not open at weekends - but most of the other shops and cafes in this complex do open.

Hideous pasta. What happened??? They've cheapened on the cheese as a topping and now use the powder rather than shards. It's too overpowering and the consistency when it "melts" gives you the mouth feel of wet breadcrumbs. Can't taste any mushroom. They also have the cheek to charge for extra mushroom sauce. Just sauce it correctly to begin with... I won't be buying again, which is a pity because Coco was such a great lunchtime staple.

paid for a salad at the kiosk and went to the fridge and they didnt have any left. unavailable products shouldn't be on the menu when you pay. it was a hassle having to change my order. I got the tomato pasta instead. it lacked any kind of flavour and was quite bland. pasta was cooked well, nice and soft, but had to rain pepper all over it. the place is very busy at lunch, very packed and lots of people standing around.

I've come to Coco pretty much every day for the last two years and have only once had a not-quite-what-I-wanted coffee or pasta (and that was, I think, because I ended up with the wrong one – which they they replaced immediately without so much as a murmur). The staff are unfailingly lovely and always polite, despite having to cater to people like me all day. They're always quick to know people and their orders, and they also throw in cheeky double card-stamps with a wink and a smile on a regular basis. And I must mention Angelina, of course – the nicest of all – and because I said I would. In short, we...

"Tell her she will have to pay more" this is what the supervisor said when I asked for my pasta to have the amount of sauce reflected in the photo on the pasta. Really disappointing as used to go here 2-3 x a week. I've noticed the sauce has reduced recently and the pasta is dry. I'm paying £8 for vegetable pasta - the least it can do is have sauce on it. That's £34 a week I'd rather spend on another lunch spot where I'm not spoken to so rudely for a...
