Absolutely appalling. Incredibly rude manager. The waitress was so apologetic about her insanely rude manager. We opted for the buffet having had it several times before. We knew their policy of charging you to take home leftovers and were fine about it. We were only into our second round of food when we decided we couldn't eat more. We told the waitress who informed us there would be a £5 charge which we agreed to pay. All fine until then. THEN the very angry and aggressive manager came over and berated us for having the leftovers we had and saying we'd have to pay much more. I could understand if we'd genuinely ordered too much but we really hadn't been excessive. Just tired and hot and filled up on lots of water. A big argument ensued. It was horrible. The manager and one of the staff kept saying 'Have a nice day' over and over. We will NEVER return. Honestly, really bizarre and disgusting service. What a way to treat regular customers who've sometimes come as a party of 7, ordering food and...

We visited Saki purely by chance after watching a film at the nearby cinema. The menu looked attractive and the restaurant was pretty busy, but not full, at 7pm on a Sunday evening. Inside it's a fairly basic environment but really you're here for the food.

On that score Saki is notably excellent. We started off with some duck gyoza and smoked eel sushi. The latter was exquisite with the eel and rice arriving warm with a lovely freshness - and the gyoza was tasty too.

For the main course I decided on raw tuna with a wasabi crust along with some soup. The tuna was really excellent; soft but meaty with a subtle heat from the wasabi. All in all the food was really very good - which is probably why there was a constant stream of deliveries heading out of the door.

I can see us returned to Saki again as the dishes were lovely and not crazy expensive. We were well looked after and the all-you-can-eat menu sounds like it's...

Tried Saki for the first time and sadly was disappointed. Food was good but the table they use for take away orders is right at the front of the restaurant next to other tables and so we spent the entire evening having what felt like an endless stream of motorcycle delivery drivers stood right next to us collecting food orders. The table next to us was piled high with take away boxes and insulated food bags. They need to change it around or do what other places in Crouch End do and make the drivers wait outside and show their delivery number so the restaurant isn’t overrun by delivery drivers. We were the only people in the restaurant at one point and I struggled to get anyone’s attention as they seemed too busy attending to take away orders and making up take away condiments. A shame as the...

So I ended up her at an all you can eat Japanese buffet as where I originally wanted to go for Sunday roast was fully booked. I was a bit sceptical to begin with as the idea of "all you can eat" sushi just doesn't ring well to me.. However, they do do it in a clever way as to minimise waste and make it so you order from across the menu and not just the expensive stuff. I personally like that. The food was just above average. Service was lovely. The space is non plus. Loved my jasmine tea. The muso soup and aubergine were my faves. I wouldn't rush back but I'd also not mind if I was invited back here either. Not disappointed but no bells or whilstes either. Go check it out. Family friendly and fine for eating alone, on a date or with friends.

i usually order a delivery take away, but this time I wanted to see where I get the food from. Good service and the food was very well presented, tasty and fresh, as always. I had the salmon sashimi, the chicken yaki with a mix salad (that had a very good dressing) and a sooo good and crispy prawns tempura!! Don’t forget to try the mochi ice cream, I had green tea and chocolate. With 2 cups of tea I paid 28£. I love it.
