Sam's Cafe — Restaurant in London

Just popped in here for a quick Saturday sit down scran while passing, I sat out front and had a real nice time people watching in the sun.

The cheese and mushroom omelette was the best I've ever had in a south London caf. Salad was fresh and of very good quality, not made of plastic and actually made me feel good. 100% fresh. The homemade coleslaw was really tasty and it came with loads of it. Toast was properly buttered and the cuppa tea hit the spot nicely.

What can I say, woke up in need of a fry up and sams caf called my name. Instantly walked in to a warm greeting from the staff. Within 10 minutes of ordering our food was delivered to us. Only down side was there was no tomato on the plate, however I was pleasantly surprised to notice no mushrooms (mushroms arent nice). I like to follow a philosophy of the triple P (pre poop preparation) and this coffee was superb in clearing out my system after 1 beer turned into 20 the night before....

The place has really kind and sociable staff and the food here is so cheap and the amount of food per portion is massive. I have been coming here since 2014 and as much as the prices have gone up, at least the portions are the same and they give you what your paying for. Love the cosy vibe and their new modern decore makes this a go to spot for different generation, groups and different styles of people. Only downside is they are closed on Sunday 😅 but we order double on Saturday to make...
