This place was recommended by 31 and 25 year old employees in the village in Brixton. They told me to go here for a proper full traditional English breakfast. I went, ordered and tucked myself between two people at a small table. The food is as you see. I...didn't know pork comes with a full English breakfast. Be warned. Anyway, we all know that English cuisine has done for food what the United States has done for domestic gun rights: (which is to say nothing and people die everyday.) There are no English restaurants outside of the UK. This is for a reason. So, I wasn't expecting much. And the English breakfast delivered. However, the food was filling and I daresay the sausage had flavor. I'd never recommend an English breakfast to anyone but if they wanted one, I would suggest San Marino, even though it was kind of congested when I went around noon noonish. The thing is, when told two British that I had ordered a full English breakfast and showed them the pic, one of them shook their head, dissenting. "No, that's not a full English. The bread should be fried in lard and where is the blood pudding?" The other Brit said that I had ordered a "posh" full breakfast. Called it a hippy version. But blood pudding sounds staggeringly revolting. And ultimately, there is no pleasing 2 Brits. If you disagree, just ask them when you add the milk when making tea. They get downright sectarian. So even though they weren't satisfied with my meal, I was. If you're a tourist, like me, why not order here?

San Marino has a ton of delicious options on their menu. I would go back and order something else if I weren't flying...

Visited on Sunday afternoon, while browsing high street with a friend. It looked welcoming from outside, and the counter and display looked mouth-watering. Despite this, we opted-out for pasta dish and coffee(myself). Coffee was delivered quickly, but then we were told there is no chicken and fish available anymore. Well, it didn't bother us therefore we chose alternatives. I wanted fussili Norma. After a short while I was provided with information that there is no aubergine available. Okay, so I chose simple dish - penne Arabiatta. It is one of my favourites and was looking forward to try it. After maybe 10 minutes of wait, the food has arrived. It was delivered byt 2 members of staff in good manner, but when the lady announced 'Norma', I felt surprised, since you were no suppose to have it available. Hm, we accepted. My friend got her Romana. I need to point out, that is not what she ordered at all. Both dishes were the same, alike - a perfect twins. Tasted it - no signs of chilli or any vegetables whatsoever, and both tasted the same. So we assumed, we both got the same dish - penne Arabiatta(a chilli-free one). We just had fun about it and did not raise a concern, since we like to just enjoy simple stuff, and the cafe actually has a lovely rush atmosphere and the staff is okay. Just felt like there is miscommunication between floor and the kitchen, or something of...

This place was a joy to visit, especially during summer. The cafe had a comforting atmosphere with the staff being very hospitable and welcoming. The decoration was rustic with a modern twist. I ordered a spicy chicken coriander wrap and a kinder bueno milkshake. The wrap came out to be delicious and flavorful, really well made; it wasn't necessarily spicy in a hot way, but more of a fragrent, it was almost refreshing. The kinder Buenos milkshake was equally refreshing with a nice cool milk base and kinder Bueno mixed in. Although the food and drink were delicious, the prices may have been considered slightly expensive for some, the milkshake came at 5 pounds, when I would have paid slightly less. The wrap, however, was priced accordingly as the experience and taste of the food was worth every penny. The service is 4 stars for me only because the server who took my order had forgotten to relay the message to other staff members to actually make the drink, but the staff members were welcoming to speak to and very enjoyable to talk to; however, I can see how this can frustrate most people. Overall, I would certainly visit this place once again, perfect for passers by and locals alike. Highly recommend a visit and trying their...

I rocked up at this bar after a gig at Brixton Accademy. Having spent 3 hours hugging the staff, drinking the best cocktail and meeting some fabulous people. 6 days later I realised I had left my passport and very loved handbag. I received a call from the one and only Super Mario and his side kick Aopiha. They had kept my belongings safe and was so so kind in helping me get back to where it all started. On arrival a week later I was greeted with the biggest smiles and of course a giggle. It was also my birthday today…. Happy Birthday song and a beautiful birthday cake was also given to me by the staff…. Wow!! I cried i was so overwhelmed. It’s all about the little things and being kind and caring. Guys you made my week. I will be returning for sure. THANK YOU SO SO VERY MUCH!!!

Why does this place have amazing reviews? I must say that I am very confused. This cafe is very noisy which is fine, it is on the main road in Brixton so I expected this. I ordered one Americano with milk and a cupcake. Took them 20 minutes to serve it and once I get my cup, the coffee was all over the place (see pic). The waiter says nothing. I ask him if they have WiFi (here with my laptop) and the waiter says I don't know its my first day and left. WHAT? Surely he could say I will ask and get back to you? Sorry for spilling your coffee, let me get you a new cup? NOTHING! The place has a funky smell. Will not come back.
