I had a terrible experience here, the worst customer service ever. I ordered a smoothie and 'Eggs Benedict' (this was a Benedict not made with bacon but spinach...I should have run away right then...) I asked the girl behind the counter if the dish came with a generous helping of spinach which she emphatically stated it did. On arrival, the dish was served with a very small handful of uncooked spinach leaves, literally five raw leaves. I said I was surprised to see the spinach was not cooked and she responded that this is how it is always served. I asked if the spinach could be cooked. She said she was sure the chef be happy to cook the spinach and assured me that more spinach would added to the dish. I could see the chef from where I was sitting through the hatch so I saw him put my plate into the microwave. The dish was brought back to me with the same amount of spinach, 5 leaves, which were now miserably wilted to the toast. I stared at the dish with utter disappointment knowing that this was not what I had ordered. I tasted the hollandaise with the edge of my fork and hoped that it would be so delicious I would just tolerate this microwaved meal. Sadly it was not, it tasted sweet so not proper hollandaise. I took the dish up to the counter and said I was not happy with it. The man behind the counter said he "will see what the manager says because this is a waste of food.” His attitude was that I was in the wrong. The manager stated that no-one had ever sent back any food here and that is was a waste of food. He slammed down the plate, saying "we will have to throw it in the bin then" and tried to charge me for the dish. I said I would not pay for anything I had not eaten. He was very unpleasant. He kept saying the price over and over again which was aggressive and made me feel incredibly uncomfortable. In the end I put the money for the smoothie on the counter and explained I would be leaving. He yelled after me as I left. Just shockingly bad attitude...

Read moreWent here for dinner on a Monday night, since it's conveniently located near Town Hall train station, at the second floor of Galeries Victoria.
The place is pretty nice, it has great ambience. There was a line when I arrived, but fortunately didn't have to wait long -- maybe 15 minutes after writing my name down.
We both ordered the "Mix Toji Teishoku" -- pork cutlet, deep-fried prawn and wagyu beef topped with egg set meal. I thought the dish was pretty yummy, though to be honest I'd just order the pork cutlet version in the future, and I wouldn't get the set -- i didn't care much for the other items that came with the set.
Got the "Matcha Anmitsu" -- green tea ice cream with azuki beans, agar jelly, and fruits topped with brown sugar syrup -- for dessert and while it was good, it was a bit smaller than what I expected...
Had the Riesling to drink and it was good.
A wee bit pricey, but it's the ambience you're paying for. Food came pretty quickly which was good. And they have iPad ordering! :P (Though I don't think all...
