Disappointing Sushi Takeaway
I ordered a takeaway meal from this sushi restaurant, and unfortunately, it left much to be desired. The sushi rolls we ordered were particularly underwhelming. Each roll consisted of only four pieces, with minimal and almost stingy amounts of fish. It barely tasted like sushi at all, which was a major disappointment given the high expectations I had.
While the rest of the order was acceptable, the overall experience felt overpriced, especially for the small portion sizes and lack of quality in the sushi itself. It gave the impression that they were scrimping on ingredients, which detracted significantly from the meal.
Given the premium pricing, I expected much better quality and attention to detail. Sadly, this experience didn't deliver, and I'm hesitant to order...
Read moreSo far it's a five star from me because they have incredible sushi 🍥 🍣 (for example the scallops one is so good) but also the prawn stir-fry has great tasting fresh prawns and fantastic noodles, the only thing that is lacking is the small amount of asparagus you get. Other sushis I would recommend there include the prawn and the tuna. The octopus one is good but perhaps not as exciting as it could have been. Seaweed salad 🥗 is good too. The do the basics right, which is "fresh fish, cut well" and improve from there. The fish is always absolutely fantastic, and really tasty. Their goyza rock. Their signature dish (Mexican futomaki) is awesome and combines well with the spicy tuna maki. The soft shelled crab and Tobiko dishes are also favourites.
