Nestled along the bustling Euston Road in London, Spagnoletti Restaurant is a charming Italian eatery that promises to transport diners to the heart of Italy through its authentic cuisine. With its warm ambiance, attentive service, and amazing dishes, this restaurant has earned a reputation as a hidden gem for Italian food enthusiasts. In this review, we will explore the delights that await you at Spagnoletti.
Ambiance (5/5): Upon entering Spagnoletti, you are greeted by an inviting and cozy atmosphere. The interior decor exudes a rustic charm, with exposed brick walls adorned with yellow full view pipes and electric wiring, creating a comfortable and welcoming space. The soft lighting and well-spaced tables contribute to an intimate dining experience, making it equally suitable for a romantic dinner or a gathering with friends and family.
Service (5/5): The staff at Spagnoletti are attentive and friendly, I was greeted by the Manager Infa, lovely and friendly and she also gave me permission to go and chat with the Chef, he was from italy and we had a short conversation about London and Food (I worked as a cook in Italy for many years, and I love to interface with people!), everyone is making sure that your dining experience is a pleasant one. From the moment you step in, you are welcomed with a warm smile and guided to your table. While the service is generally efficient, it can be slightly slow during peak hours. However, this gives you more time to savor the ambiance and anticipation of the meal.
Menu and Food (5/5): The menu at Spagnoletti offers a wide variety of traditional Italian dishes, including pasta, pizza, seafood, and succulent meat options. Vegetarians and vegans will also find plenty of delectable choices. To start, I sampled the Focaccia Barese ( the cook is FROM BARI in Italy, so you can be sure this have all the corrects flavours, a simple yet delightful appetizer bursting with the flavors of ripe tomatoes, capers, and olives, served on perfectly cooked italian focaccia.
After that I go for the Panelle (a very flavourful fritters made from chickpeas flour (we call them FARINATA in my area in Italy, search for the recipe online, you can easily buy the chickpeas flour even on Amazon, and is DEAD easy to make!) with a black olives and capers tapenade. DELICIOUS.
Beverages (4/5): The restaurant offers a well-curated selection of Italian wines and aperitifs, which complement the menu perfectly. However I did go for my favourite italian fizzy drink CRODINO (if you never tried it you SHOULD!!).
Desserts (5/5): No Italian meal is complete without a delightful dessert, and Spagnoletti doesn't disappoint. The Panna Cotta was heavenly, with the mango coulis and mini merengues, was silky smooth and accompanied by a delectable mango compote.
Overall Experience (4.5/5): Spagnoletti Restaurant on Euston Road offers a truly authentic Italian dining experience in the heart of London. From the cozy ambiance to the mouthwatering dishes, this restaurant is a must-visit for anyone craving the flavors of Italy. While the service could be slightly more prompt during busy periods, the exceptional food and warm atmosphere more than make up for it. Whether you're celebrating a special occasion or simply indulging in a delightful meal, Spagnoletti will leave you with a lasting impression of Italian cuisine...

In its open kitchen it's possible to admire the art of the chefs who, as if by magic, create fresh pasta every day from clouds of flour which then appears on the table in all its goodness. And so here are exquisite first courses that alternate with appetizers, second courses and desserts that... believe me... You'd like to never end. Extremely high quality ingredients, combined with the skill of chefs who love their work, make Spagnoletti the ideal place to savour wonderful Italian recipes whose authenticity is the watchword.
