Food was OK but customer service skills leave a lot to be desired.
We ordered from Spice Land at 1800 through just eat and requested delivery for 1930. We got a response back to say that delivery will be at 2000, 2 hours after placing the order. We had ordered 3 biriyani , popodoms and a mixed grill.
At 2000, we got a phone call from the delivery driver to say that he was lost and it turned out, he was the other side of Croydon. After giving him directions, he eventually got here at 2025. At this point, I was somewhat annoyed and the driver saw this and asked why this was. I told him that, not only was he 20mins late, I had a 3 year old daughter that was waiting for her dinner, he hadn't delivered any popodoms as requested, and he had a stupid grin on his face.
He said that he was only the delivery driver and that if I had any issues, to call the restaurant. When I phoned the restaurant, the chap who answered the phone was not only rude, but wouldn't let me speak.
All in all, a terrible experience. With so many takeaways in Croydon, this one is to be avoided.

I say Tardis because my initial thought was 'there are only two seats by the window, this is more of a Takeaway place than a restaurant', so I was pleasantly surprised to be directed into the main section of the venue which was set up for at least 32 people.
I visited at exactly 13:00 on a platinum jubilee saturday afternoon - following a fantastic 30 minutes in my new favourite barber (@Collins Barber on tge same road) and ordered a mutton biriyani which tasted so good, I thought if ordering another to takeaway!).
The restaurant started to fill up soon after my arrival - and everyone was treated with a warm welcome. Needless to say, I thoughly enjoyed my meal which was served by very pleasant staff who made me feel welcome - so much so, I forgot to take any pictures!!
I highly recommend this place if you want a great meal at an affordable price served by...

My feedback about the dosa is good, crispy and delicious. However, when the biryani were served hot, no fork and knife were given for couple of minutes. Even after requesting for knife and fork to the owner (I guess), he gave us Spoons and Forks, no Knives. It was hard to cut chicken with fork and spoon, but gave a try. The chicken pieces in Biryani were with skin and bone. Generally people expect skinless and boneless chicken though. there were no salt and pepper on the table. My constructive feedback will be:
