Excellent quality and value for money.

Staff are nice Service is quick Portion sizes are great (usually lasts me two meals at least) Food seems authentic (I'm not Caribbean so I can't really comment) Cooking area looks hygienic But most importantly, the food is incredible, especially for the price! The meat falls off the bone and the mix of spices and flavours are great. They opened not too long ago and me and my flatmates are happy to call this place one of our locals.

Would highly recommend this place, not only is it good to support local independent businesses (over big chain restaurants), but you'll also have had a solid tasty meal that is obviously professionally done, but also gives you the sense it was cooked by your aunty or grandma or something!

Would recommend the Curry Goat (a must-try), followed by the Oxtail, but there are lots of options. Plus, those who are nervous about the spice levels given the stereotypes, don't worry, the ones I've tried are relatively mild, just ask the staff and they can guide you.

Scary lack of awareness about food allergies.

When I asked staff which dishes I could have due to food allergies, they looked at me with confusion and responded by asking if I was vegan. I clarified that I eat meat and asked again to see the allergen menu. Shockingly, I was told they had "never heard of food allergies" before.

I pointed to the allergen information poster on the wall, which listed the 14 major allergens, and asked them why they had it up there and they responded saying they thought it was about veganism.

On top of this lack of knowledge, the staff spoke to me rudely and made me feel like I was being difficult for asking simple safety questions —something that is usually no issue at other restaurants.

I left feeling humiliated, frustrated, and deeply concerned for others with dietary needs. I would not recommend this place to anyone with food allergies or intolerances as you could risk becoming seriously...

Wow! What can I say about this delicious afro-carrib restaurant bcos anytime I visit I am overwhelmed with the best quality and taste of the foods and drinks, just like how Mama used to cook. You just wanted more and more...unbelievable. The Abs BEST afro- carib restaurant with cool BERES and Denis Emmanuel Brown playing in the background. Abs wonderful and beautiful. Kudos to the CHEF!!! Can't wait to book the Family Xmas dinner. I ordered the steamed fish to try it out with my ooman and hues what? She wanted more... The foods prices are even better and reasonable when compared with similar outlets..Plz keep it up and God bless from...
