PFC Original — Restaurant in London

The food is great here no denying that. Proper 90s style fried chicken and wings. Nice in house sauces too. Spicy kebab is decent too. The only issue I have here is the customer service. They are extremely tight when it comes to giving out the Dips. I ordered 6 meals for 6 people so you would expect them to give you 1 dip each. They charged me extra for it and made a comment “ we don’t usually give out that many dips” . Clearly they don’t have any common sense. How do you expect me to go home with 1-2 dips and share it between 6 people. How silly do you sound for even thinking that’s normal? You’re just embarrassing yourself. I spent about £40+ so you should be giving me one dip per meal. In my case I asked for 1 spicy mayo and 1 mayo PER meal which is still pennies. If you divided that order and had 6 people walk in ordering one of those meals each, would you not give them dips each? Why is that so hard to understand. what’s the difference if one person buys 6 meals for 6 people and asks for the correct amount of dips. It’s a ridiculous thing to even debate about. It’s happened on number of occasions so please stop making such a fuss over dips and look at the bigger picture.

Update response from owner : Hi, thank you for your comment. We provide one dip per meal and as stated in your comment above you asked for 12 dips in total so we were unable to accommodate.

Reply : Thank you for your reply. I think you have misunderstood what I have said. It shouldn’t make a difference if I’ve asked for 1 mayo and 1 spicy mayo the same principles apply. If I’ve walked in and bought one meal and asked you to give me 1 mayo dip and 1 spicy mayo then would you tell me I’m only allowed to pick one type? Ofcourse not. So If I’ve bought 6 meals take away and we all wanted one mayo and one spicy mayo dip each which serves 6 people, not sure why this is an issue? Happy to pay for it but don’t appreciate the extra remarks made by your colleagues at the counter.

24/05/24 Update: this time ordered on deliveroo, the funny thing is you can actually pay extra for as many dips as you like and I only ordered 2 meals this time. But if you go into the shop and spend £40/£50 boss man will give you grief and complicate things...

Perfect Fried Chicken. Perfect by name, Perfect by nature! A Local Legend! Succulent, juicy, garlicy, flavoursome chicken! The best fried chicken we've had in ages! Good value for money: 2 pieces of chicken and chips and 1 extra portion of chicken all for: £9.99, including delivery and service! Perfect: especially when skint what with the current cost of living crisis! Very very good, very very cheap, £1(.50 for a piece of) chicken. Hygiene Rating of 5, as well! I have ordered from here 23 times in the last 14 weeks and they have never let us down! Keep up the good work. Only thing is: we wish cheesy chips 🧀🍟were on the Just Eat menu! ☹️ Also the chips are lovely and fresh! So addictive. When you order on Just Eat, ever 5 orders you get 10% of what you're spent in the last 5 orders off of your next meal. It's great! 😁 Keep up the good work guys! Only £1.49 delivery and 50p service charge. Also I would recommend a 500ml bottle of Shani as an alternative to Coca-Cola or Pepsi. Here's the issue. There's two PFC's right next to each on Blackstock Road on opposite ends of the road. There's a PFC with a white banner and then there's a PFC with a red banner as is shown on the photo. The PFC with the white banner seemed wayy busier so I thought it was the right one. I was wrong. Got a Chicken Burger Meal with 4 wings for £3.50 and it was not it. The Burger Bun was completely flat and wasn't even seeded. The Chicken Burger was sticking out of the bun. Sauces in the shop were very watery. Wings weren't properly coated and were very average. Overall just a sub-par experience. Guess that what happens when you go to the wrong PFC. Should try the PFC with the red banner next time...

Edit: Response to owner: Yes but I've made clear with which PFC I'm talking about. There's no page for the PFC with the white banner to write a review with so I thought you were a business that just had two shops opposite each other. There's many people that are putting reviews on your place, not knowing that they went to the other...
