Tehran Lounge (Finchley) — Restaurant in London

Extremely rude and incompetent staff. 1)I walked in and wanted to sit at the table in the front section, but was told I couldn't because it's 'reserved'. When my sisters arrived, they suddenly changed their tune and let us sit at the front. It was clearly a lie so they can just have females at the front. 2) Before my sisters had arrived, I was awkwardly stared at by a member of staff as if there's something wrong with me. I eventually intervened and explained that I'm just waiting for my sisters, hence why I was alone. 3)We ordered one shisha, then another but for some reason they thought that the second Shisha was in place of the first one, only brought us one, then made us wait half an hour for the other after we had to re explain the total order and prompt them multiple times. They tried to make us out as if we were asking for extra when in fact it was the original order. 4)When it came to paying the bill, I wanted to pay with card. Despite having a card reader and ultimately letting me use it, the women who worked there gave me dirty looks and threw shade at me, telling me to use cash next time. Either put up a sign saying cash only, or fully commit to the card reader. You can't give customers the option to use the latter, then have a go at them when they do. It's 2017 and they should get with the times, cash is dying out, and if they want their business not to die out they need to adapt, and most importantly, treat their customers like human beings. Possibly one of the most disgusting experiences with customer service at this shisha lounge. None of the staff speak english .you have to wait to even be acknowledged before youre seated. The staff have the WORST attitude. Coal wasnt changed once in the nearly 2 hours we were there, had to ask multiple times for them to bring it. The back and front is freezing cold asked multiple times to turn heating on and were told ‘5mins’ (which never happened) the drinks are tasteless and as if watered down, and very very average shisha. Claim to be open till 2 but basically kick you out at around 12:30am. When you try to let them know youre not happy witht the service they completely avoid the situation.i...

I always come here for shisha but their prices have raised recently. The shisha unfortunately burns very quickly and isn’t of great quality and the quality of food changes everyday.

There are times where the bread is cold and hard and there are times where the food is great.

If the shisha and the food were to be more up to standard then I would rate this place 5* as it has great potential and has a great vibe. The lounge has an indoor and outdoor area so customers can enjoy either or.
