I have so many good things to say about the quality of food, presentation and care taken with our takeaway order from this place. We haven’t been able to dine in due to current restrictions but really looking forward to a big feast when the time comes. Their presentation and packaging was so much better than I’ve learnt to expect from delivered takeaway food now - high quality leak proof packaging (we’re even reusing it as it’s strong stuff) and the dips were beautifully presented with pomegranate seeds, garnishes and just the right amount of olive oil. You can tell each dish is freshly made, with whole ingredients rather than dyes or additives, everything tasted delicious, and the leftovers the next day were still so tasty. Our spread of mezze and hot dishes were enough to fill 3 adults twice over and some snacks for the next day. My particular favourites, moutabal (smoked aubergine dip), cheese rolls (almost like a spring roll, perfectly crisp, still warm and full of flavour) and the mixed rice were all fantastic. Delicious food, quick delivery and dedicated customer service...

I ordered take away. Packaging was beautiful and very clean and neat. So the first impression was good.

I ordered the lunch box with shawarma chicken l, fattoush salad and houmous.

The Chicken wasn't shawarma. As its obviously not grilled on a skewer and there were no chicken slices. It was shredded chicken cooked in a pan or something. Very salty. Many dry chicken pieces which can be a mixture of chicken breast and thigh. It is advertised that it's chicken thigh pieces. Which shouldn't get this dry.

Houmous was normal nothing special. Needed extra lemon. Didn't taste too fresh to me.

Fattoush also normal. Could take better with more pemogranate sauce.

Vine leaves was a different story. I ordered it separately. It was clearly canned ones and not homemade. Tasteless and nothing like a Lebanese Vine leaves dish. Please remove it from your menu if you can't do it yourself.

Overall, very bad experience, will never return and wont recommend.

Also, I clearly requested for cutleries because I wasnt home but they didn't...

I was caught in the rain while walking the other day and sought refuge under the awnings of a local restaurant. After waiting for a while, the rain didn’t stop—it just kept getting heavier. Then, a man came out from the restaurant, offered me a coffee, and asked if I wanted to come inside. After thinking it over for a bit, and already being soaked, I decided to go in and have a double espresso. Long story short, the rain eventually stopped, and when I asked for the bill, he told me there was nothing to pay and thanked me for coming in. I felt a bit embarrassed but left with a promise to return for lunch or dinner. Fast forward to today—we're sitting at the restaurant, finishing a lovely dinner. I couldn't help but write this review. The food was fantastic, but just as important was the hospitality and how genuinely welcomed we felt. You’ll notice the difference in how their staff treats you. It matters how we make each other feel. Such a lovely place, with some marvellous people. Thank you...

Appalling service. The waitress greeted us with "You're 45 mins late!" When it was clearly the booking staff's mistake - Shocking. Besides, the restaurant was incredibly quiet at the time, yet the waitress had to 'check if they have a table available' - how unbelievable. We were served by another waitress who was absolutely useless in explaining questions regarding the menu. You're better off googling the dishes yourself. During our meal, we had a constant discomfort of the waitresses staring at us and whispering to each other. The food was not bad. Some dishes like lamb kibbeh and grilled lamb are worth going there for. The 3* rating is given completely by virtue of the food. However, to be met with this hideous level of service, I'd not recommend it to friends and families. Will not be returning.

Tonight, we tried Teta's Restaurant. This restaurant is very special and worth visiting to have a nice meal. Unlike other restaurant, Teta's restaurant serves a fresh and a well cooked food. The restaurant is always clean inside out and they look after the food hygiene very well. The food was very well cooked and the dishes was very well presented. The place is very cosy and elegant and the music is very nice and chilled. The service team is very friendly and attentive and looks very well after the customers. I'd recommend this restaurant for anyone who wants to enjoy a great Lebanese meal.
