This has been on my list for quite sometime now. Being a pork meat lover I instinctively knew that I had to try this sandwich and it has lived up to its wait now.

It’s in the heart of Borough Market on the side that serves hot food - the long queues would puzzle you till you get your hands on the sandwich and savour that bite into the crunchy toasted bread and flavourful meat and other tasty goodies.

I ordered the “the Best one with crackling” crackling is the crispy pork skin and the name tells you all that this is the best one! There’s one without the crackling for a quid less. But i would highly recommend with the crackling - i’m still drooling over that!

Service is super quick and they have an individual person handling one job of the chain and your sandwich passes through 4-5 people before it reaches the person who sprinkles that cheese on top and calls out your name and hands it over to you!

One sandwich is a good snack that could be shared between 2 people has it is cut in 2 parts. The pulled pork - ummm - Really delicious!

They have a vegetarian sandwich too - would like to try that...

yes, another review for the honey truffle parmesan sandwich. saw it go viral online and had to try it when visiting the borough market. the queue looked long but the service is very efficient and it took little time (helps when everyone is practically ordering the same sandwich haha)

// honey truffle parmesan pork sandwich (10 pounds, added chili for 50p) // pork (moist), honey truffle mayo (truffle was a little subtle but a nice addition), fennel and apple slaw (im really glad they added apple, i think it was such a good flavor addition), lightly shredded parmesan on ciabetta bread.

all the toppings worked together very well! if anything, i wish the pork had a little more flavor (not sure why i was expecting more of a barbecue pulled pork from the videos i saw), but the toppings tied it together. we added chili for 50p but to be honest, i couldn't taste much.

this sandwich is veryyy hyped up from the reviews and TikTok; i can't say it blew my mind and maybe was a tiny bit underwhelmed just due to all the raving reviews, but it was still delicious and the service...

I've just finished devouring "The Best One" - their original sandwich - in what I can only call a life-defining moment. Words fail to convey the joy of savouring these guys' divine creation. That's why I took so many photos: it's a life event, a day to remember, like your wedding day, forever "encrusted" in your personal timeline. I recommend relishing The Best One on your own, in a moment of contenplation, perhaps sitting on the long street bench on Winchester Walk (opposite the Salt Yard). Don't even think about sharing: this sandwich is a true gift, and it's yours & yours only. Also, I recommend the following for best enjoyment: Do not lift the thing from its box; instead, stuff your face in it, sideways, and dislocate your jaw (remember, you only have one free hand as the other is holding the box) prepare napkins, plenty. Wet wipes work best. The only way this joint could improve is to add a beef option, though it would complicate their assembly line. These guys do pork, and by God they do it well! Do NOT...
