The Bourbon — Restaurant in London

I came here for a meal on Saturday night, and had a lovely time.

I felt l had to try a bourbon, and the staff explained the different types. There were so many, about 40 to choose from!!

I settled on a woodford, and the taste was great.

My food was an aubergine dish, and for £9.00 it was great value, such a generous portion.

The smoked flavours of the vegetables, were amazing how they all blended together.

I definitely will come back again, just to try that dish!!

The manager of the restaurant was telling me that they can adapt most dishes to be vegan/vegetarian.

The staff were so friendly and polite, asking me what l thought of the bourbon, checking that my food was OK.

The chef was telling me, he was preparing the smoked carrots for Sunday's roast, well that's one to come back and try too!!

The music playing - American southern blues, really gave the place a good vibe.

It's so wonderful to see such a different stylish restaurant and bar down Roman Road.

Small venue with fantastic intimate atmosphere and candlelit ambiance. Great service from Bar tender who was super friendly, with the gift of the blarney and a warm smile that made all the clientele feel very welcome to his establishment. When I visited from Scotland, there was a fabulous solo lady artist on stage, providing a fabulous live blues music performance! Great energy on guitar and vocal. Overall, a very quirky, fun-filled kind of evening had by all, with great wee crowd up on the floor, dancing like nobody was watching and enjoying the buzz and their night to the full. Well worth a visit... Great venue... Especially when Bex Marshall is...

If you’re in the mood for a dirty American style dinner this is the place. Came here for a date night a couple of weekends ago and I couldn’t recommend the place more.

From the whisky to the seasoning, everything is American. I’m personally not a big American whisky fan, but the staff were able to recommend something that was right up my alley from their extensive collection. If you are an American whisky fan, this place is a must.

Finally the food was sensational. Think elevated Burger King - and pretty price friendly. We had two burgers with fries, three drinks including a cocktail and a dessert for less than £70. And we definitely didn’t...
