Copperfield Cafe — Restaurant in London

I’ve been to Copperfield Cafe on several occasions now, and every single time has been an amazing experience. I’ve had their fish and chips, grilled chicken with chips, and even their breakfast – and honestly, everything has been absolutely fantastic. The food is consistently fresh, perfectly cooked, and packed with flavour. Genuinely, it’s the best I’ve had anywhere in London.

Extremely rude. Red haired waitress ruined my day after firstly saying "yeah, I heard" when I doubled checked if I could get my egg poached as she hadn't replied the first time. Then she came over to me and claimed that because my mother way just having a drink, she wasn't allowed to sit down on the table because she needed the space. I've never been so angry with service in my life. This happen today 05.08.15 and after being a loyal customer for over a year now, going in every week without fail. I will NEVER go there again. On one of the hottest days of the year, I popped in to ask politely if they could fill my reusable bottle with tap water. Was told I'd be charged. I initially thought it was a joke. Complete lack of human kindness coupled with an unnecessarily combative attitude. Went to Directors Cut a few doors down to ask the same & they not only had no problem at all with that, but apologised the tap water wasn't very cold. So go there for a coffee instead.
