I recently had the pleasure of visiting The Cow, a delightful pub nestled in the heart of town, and I must say, my experience was nothing short of exceptional! From the moment I walked through the door, I was greeted with warm smiles and a lively ambiance that immediately set the stage for a memorable evening.
One of the key factors that made my visit truly outstanding was the impeccable service provided by Nick, one of the servers at The Cow. Nick went above and beyond to ensure that my time at the pub was nothing short of fantastic. From his genuine friendliness to his outstanding attention to detail, he made me feel like a valued guest throughout the entire evening.
Nick's expertise in recommending the perfect drink to suit my taste buds was truly impressive. He effortlessly guided me through the extensive drink menu, sharing his knowledge and passion for the craft beers and spirits available. His genuine enthusiasm for the beverages on offer was contagious, and it added an extra layer of enjoyment to my experience.
Not only was Nick knowledgeable about the drinks, but he also had an excellent understanding of the pub's menu. He expertly described the dishes, making every meal sound absolutely irresistible. I took his recommendations, and I must say, the food was beyond delicious! From the hearty burgers to the delectable pub-style appetizers, each bite was a symphony of flavors that left me craving more.
What truly impressed me about Nick was his ability to strike the perfect balance between attentiveness and giving me space to enjoy my meal and drinks at my own pace. He seemed to anticipate my needs before I even had to ask, ensuring that I never felt rushed or neglected.
Beyond Nick's exceptional service, The Cow itself is a charming establishment with a cozy and inviting atmosphere. The rustic decor, complemented by soft lighting and comfortable seating, creates an ambiance that is both welcoming and relaxing. Whether you're meeting friends for a casual evening or enjoying a romantic date, The Cow offers the perfect setting to unwind and enjoy great company.
To summarize, my experience at The Cow was truly exceptional, and I owe a great deal of that to Nick's outstanding service. His genuine friendliness, expert recommendations, and impeccable attention to detail made my visit unforgettable. I highly recommend The Cow to anyone seeking a fantastic pub experience with top-notch service. Thank you, Nick, and the entire team at The Cow, for a truly memorable evening. I will definitely...

Edit to reply to the owner 8 months after I left the review... Bit late to ask someone to elaborate but the experience was THAT bad I still remember it so ok.... We went in and were directed to a table by a member of staff. Sat down and tried to order off the app, which isn't the easiest task as there was no WiFi that I was made aware of and the signal wasn't great. Asked another member of staff could we order off her, she was rude and acted as if I'd asked her to jump over flames for us. Took our order and it took ages to come out. Meanwhile another member of staff had approached us asking why we were sitting at that table. Told her we had been directed here by a staff member. She sharply replied "well you shouldn't have as that tables booked in an hour" not really our fault, seems more of a miscommunication between your staff... Wanted us to tell her who it was but as noone seemed to be wearing name tags (or if they were they aren't very visible and clear) we couldn't. In between lots of sighs and eye rolls, we were told we could have "one drink and then would have to leave as we shouldn't have been sitting there". I'd have walked out there and then and told them where they could put their drinks, but my partner is calmer than me so told the rude waitress we would only be staying for one anyways. Drink took so long to come out we couldn't have had time to order another one even if we downed it there and then. As we were leaving the rude waitress who had told us we could only stay for one gave the most sarky "bye then" as she rolled her eyes so hard they almost went into her head... And the drinks were overpriced but as a chain I guess you don't have much power over that. Is that elaborated enough...
Read moreGreat pub tucked out of the way. Its got 2 floors with the ground floor being the drink/dance area and the 1st floor is the restaurant. I cant comment on the restaurant as I've never eaten there. You can stand at the bar, sit down inside or hang out in the garden at the front. Its a relatively nice sized and open pub. The toilets are well decorated and have always been very clean even towards the end of the night ;) The pub sometimes has a DJ or even if there isnt one the music selection is a good mix of modern/90's/80's usually. The drink selection is very good including middle class mixers. Now and again they change a few of the liquors especially the dark rum which is my preferred drink. Also, beers taste pretty damn fine on draft. The bar service is generally good despite how busy the evening can get and most bar staff remember what order the patrons came up to the bar (Thank god!) I believe there is always security on the door but they are there to look pretty, not to hassle you for ID. The crowd mostly carry a good vibe. A very diverse mix of people come here. Most seem like your 9-5ers just finished a day at the office. Rarely any trouble and rarely any riff raff.
Now the price, Maybe Westfield are greedy? maybe the cow want to rip people off? Its far above 'average' London prices which is the only negative. Ive come here many times since it opened , generally its my go to pub for drinks with friends and dates lol. Soon ill be dragging my wife to be...
