Their QR code was not working so we went to order in the bar and you could clearly see how upset he was because he had to take our order even though the place was empty and no one in the queue. He was so annoyed that felt like he was doing us a favour . Waiter came to bring the drinks and put the tray on top of my husband’s phone even though he told her twice . We asked for mayonnaise and they brought 2 sachets for a table of 4 and said that the chef doesn’t give more . £16.50 for a bfast and not been allowed mayo? Food was ok. Read moreI recently visited the Globe at T5 and whereas the food was very good, the service was probably the worst I had ever had. The server was grumpy beyond belief.
However, my real issue was that on viewing my reciept, a gratuity of 10% had automatically been added without any knowledge to myself!
This is unaccepatable on two counts. Firstly, you hav eto pay before any service is undertaken as you have to order from your own phone. Secondly, as previously mentioned, the service was shockingly bad.
And, it seems there is no way to communicate with the company so they seem to have you over a barrel from the get-go.
So even though the food was good, I would avoid at all costs unless you really are trapped landside with no other options.

The prices aren’t as ridiculous as you’d expect and whether you’re sat at the bar or at a table, the service is great. There’s a good range of drinks and cocktails offered, as well as a food range which should suit most, whether you’re wanting a full meal of smaller bite. Ordering can be done via QR code, but they’re also happy to provide table service too which is great. The atmosphere is nice and having a few tables more in the terminal area out the front offers a different vibe.
